- When you RC on a budget sometimes its hard to make your car stand apart from the pack, Here is my way of bucking the norm. If you take your time and shop around you can gather the components for this home made underglow for less than $30 Australian. I bought all my components in bulk on Ebay.
If you have any hints or tips that could help someone RC on a budget please post them in the comments.

Great idea! Running the cable lead through the wrap is also great idea.
The lowest quality fiber-optic cable will give you the most dispersion which is what you want for the glow. Definitely find the cheapest stuff
thats right, the more you get the light to disperse the better the effect.
Very cool!
Thank you.
G’day mate with the work on hot wheels vehicles?
I dont know.
Finding the tiny LED would be the hard part. You can definitely find fiber-optic cable as thin as you want, right down to the size of a human hair.
thanks mate
@@JoeOvercoat hiding the power supply would also be an issue in a Hot wheels car unless you removed the interior and blacked out the windows. then its just a matter of putting it all together.
I think it was matchbox did some cars with lights and sounds 15+ years ago, that didnt last long because you couldnt change out the battery.
@@dirtdevilrcmotorsports Matchboxes with lights & sounds?!?!?! I can only say...that's rad baby!
