The price needs to come way down on these. It's a shame the cost keeps people, like me, with shoulder and hand injuries from getting one out of necessity.

I know! 😭 I saw this and thought “this is exactly what I need”! Until it turned out to be 3,000 😳

I know. I didn't even pay that for my complete flute of silver.

@@kiaraeijo The FCNY has dozens of options at $2,000 for solid silver headjoints. There are several closer to $1,000, and even one at $900. $3,000 is a high price for a head joint, we can admit it. Just because people sell some headjoints for $10,000 doesn’t make that the norm or the most common purchase.

@@AcornFrog $3,000 is the average price for a brand new silver headjoint but I have seen some Pre-Owned silver heads that cost about $1,500.

I have a flute. Can you buy just the head joint piece? That flute sounds amazing

I've never seen an instrument headjoint like this before it is so cool I would like one of these for my flute

Where I've seen this kind of headjoint before is in photos of the Albissophone, a bass flute. Obviously, with a bass flute the ergonomic advantage of this headjoint is even greater.

The only person I know that plays on this type of headjoint is Mark Wallace from Flute World because he suffers from Focal Dystonia and he says that it has helped him a lot. I do love that both head joints have Malachite in the crown (One of my favorite crystals in my Crystal collection)🥰❤️

Hiii! I absolutely LOVE my vertical headjoint. Absolutely transformed my playing and I am now able to play for hours daily whereas I had to completely stop for almost 12 years prior. If anyone needs assistance playing their vertical headjoint I will absolutely assist. It’s a different animal and like Gina mentions it will require an adjustment period. It is worth it though!!

I have had right shoulder replacement surgery and I stopped playing my flute due to the pain it caused….this looks like a great remedy! Are the tones the same?

I wish that there were flute headjoints like that when I playing the flute. I had to try to avoid having the end of the flute getting into someone else's face. I really like the crown with the malachite stone in it.
