We don't get enough SNK music on this channel. We don't get a lot of fighting game music on this channel now that I really think about it. So this arrangement of "Esaka?" from '96 is really nice!
In my case, I maybe cover a bit too many fighting games haha but fighting games just have some great themes. I gotta cover from this game at some point though

Glad this came out as well as it did, been waiting for a KoF song for a long time. Especially given that there's only been one Neo Geo song on the channel at all before this it's been a long time coming. Glad to have contributed once again.

10/10 Iori Yagami's hate this one GaMetal trick! That was absolutely sensational - hearing that classic track with extra oomph and then have it exploded in a desperation move really delivered, I'm talking cold sweat goosebumps, WOW! And with that tease of Kyo's other songs at the end (Goodbye Esaka?), this is just the juice I'll need to get through the day. Thank you as always Jonny, we're blessed to have you!

KoF is a franchise that I'm surprised you haven't covered more: It's a series filled with bangers after bangers after bangers, and this one was no exception! The guitar was amazing as always, but also the solo was really cool, and the leadup to it was really well-done as well! You nailed this one, Jonny, and I see Prince Mush as the end, so I'm excited! (Also just hoping for more KoF songs in the future)

@@arthurgadytibayan1411 I wouldn't say Hiyama is underrated. He's voice an insane amount of great and popular characters, like Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho), Link (Ocarina of Time), Siegfried (Soul Calibur), among so many others. That man is a legend!
And yeah I also follow Nostalgica. He is quite the underrated channel. I really hope at some point his channel gets a boost, because he is great.

King Of Fighter's 98 is one of my favorite fighting games of all time but I get chills hearing this because I know I'm about to get my arse thrown into oblivion by Goro in a matter of moments...
KoF is one of my favorite franchises. I used to play 2002 almost daily. That said I wanna request 'Scrap and build ourselves' from Eternal Sonata. This is request 120+ and you will not stop seeing my requests until I get it. I am approaching my second year requesting this song and I must say I have not forgotten why I want this song at all. I love Chopin's music, he's my favorite composer of all time (I bought a guitar driven by a desire to play his music). Sakuraba is my favorite game composer; I listen to the music composed by him at least twice per month. Finally, I listen to most covers of GaMetal and often times listen to them while working on stuff or studying. Just do that cover already Jonny. I am not giving up.
Even in the realm of fighting games it's possible to discover some amazing ost.
This is giving me an idea for a future 'month of': the Gametal Evo; you can choose a track to cover, one per fighting franchise.

We need more people to do King of Fighters music appreciation and reactions. It's so very few people on RUclips who are doing anything with KOF music and it's an absolute travesty

Esaka has always been one of my favorite fighting game themes. This goes hard. Even better because they just released SNK vs Capcom Chaos. KOF had such great music and Kyo has always been one of my mains even If I'm not the best at the game.
