It never clicked how PERFECT of a song this was for GaMetal to cover until now, and I am damn glad he decided to do it. I can feel every ounce of goofy, gunky funk put into this remix!
It's always fun to hear variations in how different cover artists approach a track. This one compares and contrasts well with RichaadEB's cover from last year, showing off GaMetal's wider range of instrumentation while still bringing the hard-driving guitar.
@@SimuLord imma be fr, gametal is the only good guitar cover channel. the rest sound generic as fuck and only really cover popular songs. johnny actually knows how to make good music, not just generic redo it with a guitar.

My favorite thing about this song in the OST is how the notes get so twisted tense and distorted towards their tail ends, and I always thought it was a shame most covers don't aim to portray that extremely expressive style

As someone who has listened to his fair share of "It's Pizza Time" covers, this might just be the best cover of "It's Pizza Time" I've ever heard! (sorry, RichaadEB)
Also, can I just say I love how you added the accordion at 0:26? That's something I always missed from the early versions of It's Pizza Time, even though I think the final version of the song is ultimately the best version of it.
Holy shit. Like, I knew that this one was going to be good, but Jesus Christ, not THIS good. You honestly popped off so hard with this song. The guitars are fantastic, the recreation of the vocals is really well done (and also props for including the WL4 Hurry Up! bells) and lastly, this song just screams adrenaline. It's so fast-paced, and your cover just adds to that so much in my opinion. This was an absolutely fantastic way to start 2024 off and I cannot wait for what comes next.

God damn, you're starting of the year with a BANG, and I could not be more here for it!! I honestly can't decide whether I like this or RichaadEB's cover of this song better, which is saying a LOT considering that's my favorite series of covers he's ever done.
Those drums hit _hard,_ and when combined with those lead guitars, that incredibly groovy bass in one section, and that _phenomenal_ guitar solo near the end, it makes for arguably one of the best covers you've ever done!! Absolutely incredible job on this ine, dude!

It’s been nearly a full year since Pizza Tower released, and I still haven’t played it. And yet, I still love it despite never picking it up. I hope I will soon though
The sheer skill you needed to play your arrangement of this is out of this world. This track is already insanely difficult to play in it's own right, but you didn't settle for less and elevated it in your style. Stellar work man
Pizza Tower is a game that I knew I'd enjoy when I finally played it, but didn't think I'd consider it one of my favorite indie games of all time which equates my love for Cuphead. The music in the game is amazing and you really knocked it out of the park with It's Pizza Time. I could only imagine how you'd tackle Unexpectancy and hell, Tubular Trash Zone. Guess we'll wait and see!
And yes, I'm still volleying for Baking the Wondertart from Cuphead being remixed by you, fingers crossed for the new year!

Mine were Light of the Nibel (ori and the blind forest) Destiney (Popful Mail), and Fight against Culex (Super mario rpg)
My favorite songs from the medleys were Old enemy (Smt If) and baby park (mario kart double dash)
Buoy Base Galaxy, Never Turn Back, and At Doom's Gate were probably top 3 solo remixes for me. Favorite medley songs, Baby Park (bc it was my submission LOL) and Flower Garden

Here we go! The first Pizza Tower remix and I doubt it'll be the only one! Hoping for a medley of the entire Pizza Face boss battle since his second face is my favorite track in the game.
I'm also wondering if Jonny would consider doing remixes of some Undertale Yellow tracks since I don't think I've seen him remixing anything from a fangame ever but would consider this one as an exception since it has so much in it (and because of the banger OST). If yes, I'd love to see how he'd arrange A Mother's Love or a medley of all the tracks used in the Flowey bossfight.
