dillon we have buses like that and ours start fine when its cold.somethimes the oil pressure sensor goes bad and that what causes the long start when its cold.when its cold all the oil runs down to the bottom of the engine and the hydro oil pump has to repump it back up to the injectors to bust them off(spray). when its not cold in the morning the oil doesnt run to the bottom of the engine it stays were its at. and if the oil pressure senor is bad it will take it longer to read and tell the computer that oil pressure is there or some wont tell the computer at all. P.S. those engines are bad for having the oil pressure senor go out on them. YOUR MAD MECHANICS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THAT LOL.
