Ive always wanted 2 drive coaches or big lorrys but never got around to learning. I lv watching these type of vids on you tube there really interesting 👍
When you've got people like that mentoring drivers you can see why they've gone downhill. Used to drive these on that route, such a shame its all big brother now, miss that job but glad i got out before all that, who cares about a drive cam, if you have to brake then you brake, if these are making people think about their actions to a point where they are being told by mentors they shouldn't be braking so hard then in my opinion that makes a worse driver.
I worked for nx owned operations for over 12yrs based near Heathrow Airport, I got fed up with all the stuff company came up with you are monitored all the time, running times are tight no allowance for traffic or delays, drivers were great management, some good some useless pen pushers after changing are routes every few months, introducing ticket machines that never worked properly, no internet connection, machines worked slowly, drive cam, no local controller they sat in office nowhere near routes but monitored you when nothing else to do, got fed up and worked for another company, after I left closed depot, lot of drivers out of work, had to work long hours to make a decent living, loading luggage continuously every day took toll on the body
Y do these scania buses makes so much noise inside and revving a lot before at each gear? Indian models are noticably quiet and doesn't rev this much! Anybody?
Most of these coaches are owned by private companies not nx the vehicle has to have their name on it to many rules and every move the driver makes is monitored I used drive from Scotland to London good wages but even two man it was in my opinion dangerous 14.5 hours tired drivers and yet they talk about safety and some passengers were an absolute nightmare glad I am away from it trust me a very stressful job for the drivers

Always wonder where there main garage ? Depo is or do they share s hearings?
