Pretty fun to listen to the track in this video after learning how it's made. You can really hear all the little details ("In My Arms" by Disclosure) - ruclips.net/video/RuPAClqsBHU/видео.html
You mean thank YOU man for doing this ! There isn't a lot of producers that can teach me something nowadays because I'm producing for over 12 years now, (don't want to sound arrogant but it's true...) but you are one of the few ! Keep up the great content and keep making crazy tunes
The amount of work that goes into every single element is a perfect lesson to amateur producers. It sounds so good because so much work goes in. Amazing.
This guy is a genious! The more I watch his tutorials the more I feel inspired of doing what I like and sounds good to me instead of searching for mathematics precisions and written rules...music is inspiration more than anything
I can see Guy again and again and again, it's pretty crazy how clean he works using a lot of plugins with a very clean sounding goal, small bits every time.
I'm curious cause he is saying deadmau5 is using long kicks but actually deadmau5 rant on long kicks after Steve Duda told him tips on them. Why's that?
Not saying that I'm not liking it, but why is the channel focused on Disclosure and on Ian lately? There are great tips and tricks shared by producers of different genres on streams. Like Oliver, Mr Bill, Oksami, Tennyson, etc. Is it because the two first allowed you to share these and the others didn't?
@@SolStateMusic You're right! I do love his tutorials and even his music. It's just that don't make dance/electronic music. Thank you for your reply! You're the best in what you are doing!
@@SolStateMusic the only thing it will do is increase the amount of time people waste on their mix; if they don’t know what to listen for it’s a useless technique

Me: “Why is your CPU so high?”
Guy: “… I’m actually automating it throughout the track.”
hahahahahahahahaha, this is the funniest youtube comment I've read this year
okay, that might came off as sarcastic, but I AM laughing my ass of as I am typing this haha

master.
for surgical eqing, do you guys use q3 or sooth2?
Soothe is super CPU heavy so I'd reach for EQ first. No golden rules, whatever works.
Genius of our time. Makes me fckn jealous 😤
Fl20 wake up new soul state video, we got work to do.

Decapitator trick is where its at
I'm curious cause he is saying deadmau5 is using long kicks but actually deadmau5 rant on long kicks after Steve Duda told him tips on them. Why's that?
I assume he's referring to older tracks, before Duda changed Deadmau5's mind.
ah yes

good tips on everything but bass , for a solid kick bass wall of sound check trance or psytrance producers.
Haha Deadmau5 is literally always ranting about long kicks.
0:46 can't quite put my ear onto what he's EQing out, anyone hear it?
Rolling off all the subs? Really? How does that sound in a club?
The fixing resonances thing is such a bs tip; most people will ruin their mix by doing this
I think most people will significantly improve their mixes by fixing resonances.
