My Husband and I are coming to Providence RI at the end of October 2022 to check it out to see if we’d like to live in RI. We live in Rochester NY , winters can be rough in Western NY, lots of snow and ice and it has snowed even in May! We have had feet of snow in one storm. 6” of snow is a dusting for us lol! NYC generally has much better weather than we do. Plus we are used to pot holes as I think we are pretty equal with RI from what a friend told us 😅I’ve heard that RI has many more sunny days than Rochester does. Plus RI has a large gay community from what we have heard and is liberal where Rochester NY is ultra conservative and fickle.
Hey guys ! Just wanted to express my gratitude for these videos. This is week 4 for me and my Husband in Providence, moving from California/Nevada. Although my Husband lived in Boston years ago for quite some time, there is so much to explore here and your informational but very fun videos are making it very easy for us. I’m just randomly giving my Husband fun facts as we drive around and he is like - how do you know all this 😅 thanks to your guidance on parts of the town, we rented an amazing place in an amazing neighborhood and honestly, if we were to stay and buy, you are who I will call. Canadian Italian from Toronto here was considering a move my job skills are basically delivery driving and warehouse type work with lifting machines in forklift reach truck type work. Would you recommend RI honest opinion
HI Guys....Great video as always. Albert...I get the meat sweats too :>) My wife and I hope to move back to RI in a couple years to retire. We were married at the Ocean House in 1985. I was hoping to have our 40th anniversary there but it got a little pricey. When we are ready to look for a place to live we will give you guys a call. Keep up the great work!
