I'm in zone 9 - southeast Texas. During the summer, I know it's going to be hot from day to day. I don't need to know how hot. Winters, on the other hand, are unpredictable. They're usually pretty mild, but we can get a hard freeze or two. For us, that's a low of around 28F... It's nice to know I don't need to move my Greenstalk strawberries unless it gets especially cold.

Great video ,just found your channel I have my strawberries in green stocks as well iam in zone 7-8 Abbotsford Bc Canada I just trimmed all the dead leaves off today ,and I had some runners I planted them up and watered them it’s going to be 33 tonight so I brought the new plants into our house garage so they didn’t freeze or should I just keep them in my unseated green house

Thanks for the tips. I stunt have a garage or any indoor space where I can move them so the burlap n frost cover idea sounds like my best bet... we'll see

Do you add the bubble wrap or burlap under the frost cover, or would it be ok to temporarily add over the outside of the frost cover, or even add winter row cover over the outside of the frost cover for temporarily keeping it warmer?

Underneath - and that is for extreme cold. I think the frost cover is enough for dip into the lower 20s. Lower teens and single digits is when I would add an extra layer. I hope that helps!
