  • This talk is part of the Penn State Department of Sociology and Criminology's "Career Conversations with Legal Professionals" series.
    This video features DEA agent Daniel Soeffing. Soeffing began his career in 2005 in the Los Angeles Field Division focusing on international drug cartels and Narco-Terrorism cells. Soeffing has worked in the Philadelphia Field Division since 2009 focusing on Financial and Medical Professionals engaged in Narcotics Trafficking. He is a former State Prosecutor and a Judge Advocate with the U.S. Army Reserve. Soeffing is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and is married with four boys.

    A lot of what this dude said are just wrong, but still interesting. Sounds like he hasn’t had any LE experience outside of DEA. Excellent interviewer. Great questions and let the guy talk more.
