The man just keeps improving with age! Obviously we all know him for the powerful soaring vocals in Alter Bridge which I love too but the way he's using more restraint in places and working out his lower register as well as the highs in his acoustic stuff is so dynamic. If it were anyone else I would say it's because their voice can't handle high notes anymore but Myles clearly can and does, i'm sure that part of it is finding more ways to preserve that voice as he begins to get older but the things he's doing vocally right now are actually making him more exciting as a performer too because there are so many more possibilities. His guitar work is just outstanding and its cool that he's showcasing it more with the acoustic songs. I'd say that in terms of overall musicianship, he's better than he's ever been right now. It's a huge achievement.
