  • We had a really bad wind storm back in Feb. This is some video I took of lineman from Nevada Energy replacing a power pole next to my house. Tough work, excellent job!

It is amazing what these guys can do and the amount of skill it takes. Glad we have tough, dedicated linemen to keep out power flowing.

Pam, thanks for watching as always, and always I appreciate your kind words! Glad you're getting use out of your Booyah. I got heavy duty tubes for the tires, that'll help prevent flats. Hope you're well!

With a jib with 270 degrees rotation you could do all of this with rubber gloves and have the conductor in the jib head instead of a link stick.

They are using their hot sticks these lines are energized, so they can't glove them.

From what he said in the beginning with rain drops they probally opted to stick it instead of gloves but if it were dry out gloves would be fine

I really hope my power authority "PSEG Long Island" fixes my pole, it's been leaning for years and it's been getting worse.

Jim Graham yeah and today (March 14, 2017) it came down and the power is out. A Severe Thunderstorm knocked it down
