U work for altec?? I have a good question regarding a fracture on an Altec T40b. It was a tubular stress crack on maybe some 1 inch at best . Id like to pickur brain on if that would need a specialized or certified welder for a basket. Telecom line Worker here.. they ended just replacing the whole basket since it was under warranty still. some 6 years old which i was surprised at
that type of soil aka sand cant really be compacted . THe initial DIRT sure but type C soil not gonna do much tamping it. You ever tamp sand hydraulicly especially dry sand?
2A' ZZ trust me this is not a 2 man job and sure as hell not a one man job. This is about as easy as it gets and what do you think they have to do after they set the pole? There are energized wires up there that they have to transfer
