people think its easy to run this machine, in Illinois there are only a handful of timberpro operators, I do agree he should be taking down multiple trees before laying each one down. He may not have that much time on the T.Pro, I will post a video of our guys on it, this guy is on flat terrain you should see the kind of terrain this thing works through
its a feller its not an excavator and your a sloppy operator. you arent being efficient and grabbing tree as it is cut or grabbing more than one before dropping the trees
It is an auto leveler. Looks to be a valmet/komatsu 445 with a hot saw And I'm guessing first or second day. He's on flat ground nice wood and he's not even issuing his acumalator
Wow you sir are what we call an idiot. I'm glad you have seen a feller/buncher on tv. Bobby Goodson uses what is referred to as a flat bottom feller/buncher the cab stays stationary when climbing and descending hills. Where as an auto leveller as you climb a hill or descend a hill the cab will actually stay level and the tracks fallow the hill. Up to I believe 45% forward and back and around 15-20% side hill. So if you are going to try and call me out on something so simple as that. I did log for three seasons and have seen both types of machines in action.
Except for a few things the controls on a feller are way different. Way more functions can't remember how many buttons but every feller head/style is different so probably between 5-8 buttons per joystick. Plus fellers only have foot pedals for tracks instead of foot and hand levers like hoes. And the cab itself huge difference. A feller has tops and fops whereas a hoe usually doesn't unless it's added on after which is usually just for logging. Tops is tip over protective structure and fops is falling object protective structure
that thing would be cool to chuck a standard excavator setup on
