Since you asked, I'm much more excited about the bonus bird content in this vid than the gigantamax debut because organising that is going to be a hot mess with regards to getting enough players in each battle (& without players being left out if there's just over 40!) and with the limits of dust we can collect.

Re g-max, I"m pretty much "meh". If the group of local trainers that I like hanging out with organise a group, I'll join in, but otherwise I don't feel excited about this (or about dynamax).
Relatedly, if Niantic want feedback on dynamax: I would love it if the dynaraids were a lot, lot smaller (like pokestop size), with the boss standing on the map beside them like rockets do. In urban areas, the map is just overwhelming with all the gym-sized waypoints with bosses spinning around on top, and I'm sure it's contributing to the app crashing more often on my phone.
Gmax raids happening so soon after dmax raids kind of kills hype for both in my opinion. Why waste time going for dmax gastly when gmax gengar comes next week? Why do gmax gengar if I need 40 people? I can barely convince my wife to help me with raids.
If it’s like a community event where people can all fight this boss together separately. I mean maybe that would be a reason to go for it? But I don’t want to rely on other people to help me get what I want. At least raids you can invite friends to help you out remotely.
Gmax is dead on arrival for most people i think. If we need anywhere close to 40 my area is absolutely screwed as I think we max out at about 17.
If they let us know where they were about a week ahead we could possibly use campfire to coordinate but unfortunately Niantic doesn't believe in planning ahead. Its going to be the valentines elite raid nightmare all over again when it comes to Gengar as well.
I don’t think that’s going to be the case. Just to point out the 5 star raids “need” max 20 people but some can literally be soloed and duoed, and optimally you need 3-5 to complete most 5* raids. It’s going to be similar to that, I am sure 👌🏼

I am not at all excited about Giganimax stuff. I can’t get enough people in person for a shadow raid or Elite raid or anything else. It will be just one more thing in the game I can’t do.

not sure if anyone mentioned but looks like morpeko mode change is functioning as intended! in the MSG it alternates between both forms every turn and aura wheel changes types accordingly with the mode change, rather than the other way around
Yep, similar to Aegislash. It can only go into Sword form in battle. One less needed for the shiny Dex 🤷🏾

I will only convinced if the opponent also spamming fast moves. I still need an answer if Morpeko's form change triggers *WHILE* spamming fast moves, like how you commonly do in GBL, ala no stun-lock. Because if Morpeko form changes and stun locks at the same time, there's no way it would live 1-2 Mud Slaps. Imagine using a move and form change at like 10 HP, expecting to fire another charge move, because you reserve 1, in case the opponent shields, and KOed before you even doing that, that would snowball the fight very fast.
My guess is it will not take anywhere close to 40 people to win the raid, I think it's just as increase to 40 from the 20 normal lobby max
A few days ago I got myself a shiny shellos as the very first incense based spawn. I was pretty happy, I didn’t have it yet before that
gmax is literally just niantic doubling down on the bad aspects of dynamax (in person only, trash rewards which you can pay to double) instead of actually making it worthwhile. the faster this flops the faster dmax/gmax can get a 2022 mega level update that gives us some reason to actually want to do them

Glad the research kicked off while I was downtown for work. Got three Win 2 Raids on a walk to get my three Gastly Dynamax battles. Then a pair of Sableye raids was convenient.
I get three people max in my area. Necrozma and rayquaza were a stretch for my area. Kinda scared of the forty people g-max battles

Raid Pokemon Galar Tour can be fusion Calyrx with Spectrier and Glastrier.
Probably like fusion Necrozma, need fusion energies whether Spectrier or Glastrier.
Fusion Calyrx with Spectrier will need Spectrier fusion energies while fusion Calyrx with Glastrier need Glastrier fusion energies.
Each fusion needs 1000 fusion energies but each time raid the maximum amount 90 fusion energies will obtain. Also depends on how fast players defeated the Fusion Calyrx.
Note that, Calyrx itself won't become raid boss but defeated Fusion Calyrx will lead players to catch Calyrx in bonus challenge session.
Unlike other tours, Galar region was Sword and Shield but raid fusion raid Pokemon during no relate with Sword and Shield so no free fusion energies in free special research Galar tour global. Sword refer to Zacian and Shield refer to Zamazenta.
Free special research a little bit chance will grant players a free Zacian or Zamazenta depends on players choose Sword or Shield.
Day one Galar tour raid Pokemon will be Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta. Both form can be shiny

just wanted to let u know if u are still having charging issues when on Pokémon go, click the bottom left button on the navigation bar on Samsung phones and go into game optimisation and turn off the pause PD setting, it sounds like this is the issue u might have been having from what u have said

G max dynamax have zero incentive. It’s a cool concept but at this point we have no reason really to do it. The limited time I have too play I’m not focusing on that. I feel like they hoped it would be as popular as raids it’s not. Sadly we are in the end game of pgo content.. it’s not exciting it’s new costumes n drip feeding the last few Pokémon
I think we all assumed gmax would have some sort of in game effect like Megas do but it doesn’t appear to be that… so, they’re currently completely pointless except for something fun to do

Only Necrozma used to be fused with Solgaleo or Lunala can be Ultra evolve it. Beforehand, we need to do separation which is not cost.
In order to evolve Necrozma ro Ultra form, it is cost 1000 ultra energies plus one special evolution item. Nevertheless, 100 free Necrozma ultra energies and one special evolution item given after completing free special research during Alola Tour global.
When after defeated Ultra Necrozma raid boss a maximum amount of 90 Necrozma ultra energies is obtained but also depends on how fast players defeat the Ultra Necrozma raid boss. The special evolution item will be become rare award after raid was done.
Zeraora can be become raid Pokemon during Alola Tour day one..
This is unlikely, the fused necrozma are the ones who can go into ultra form, there would be no reason a separated one would be the one to go ultra. The game does not keep track of whether a necrozma had been fused prior. It either currently is or isn't.
Things goes as expected, no Generation 7 dual ghost type Pokemon Mimikyu and Dhelmise. No global release of mythical ghost type Pokemon Marshadow.
