Jalan Masjid India and its surrounding area is one of the oldest neighbourhood in Kuala Lumpur, and has been a popular shopping destination for more than a century. There are many shops and stalls selling various types of clothes, jewellery etc.... Most of the shops are owned by Indians. There is also a famous Indian Mosque here.
