- Tribute to Disneyland's Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland in G scale garden railroad. It was one of my favorite attractions as a kid and I made this for my grandkids.
Wow! What a fantastic recreation of a beloved and greatly missed ride. I was lucky to ridden Natures Wonderland a few times before htey replaced it with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It was great to hear the original Narration by Dallas McKennon.

This is incredible! I'm amazed by your painstaking recreation of everything, especially the rainbow caverns. I feel like this would be my favorite ride at the park if it was still around, so it's awesome to see a model of it made with so much love

I love this. I had never experienced this attraction since it closed before my birth. Still, I am fascinated by this attraction after seeing RUclips videos and artwork and listening to Dal McKennon's narration.
The work inside the tunnel is amazing and shows a love to detail.

Fabulous! You did great job recreating the attraction. As I watched, I thought, "He couldn't have possibly recreated the Rainbow Caverns". Oh how I was wrong; love the attention to detail.
As a kid that was able to frequent Disneyland, this was one of my favorite attractions. I was disheartened when the original attraction was replaced with Big Thunder but happy to see that some of the element of the train were retained.

Did the rainbow caverns look like that?
@@sealy1 Yes, basically. There is no color film footage of it, unfortunately.
This was reportedly Walt's favorite ride, but the tunnels were deteriorating because of the trees they'd planted on top (their roots were growing through and causing leaks when it rained). They faced spending millions to repair it, but fewer people were riding it every year, so the bean-counters said no.

Just because this is just in someone’s backyard doesn’t mean it can’t PACK A PUNCH In entertainment!!! This was absolutely amazing!! This Definitely had a lot of love building this!!!

What a cool model! I really love Thunder Mesa Studio's adaptations of this classic ride, but this being outside and larger brings its own charm.
It brought back so many memories... some which I had totally forgotten! Wonderful job. And, so true to the actual attraction!

Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. The interior rainbow cavern you repeated was very impressive. Where did you find the G scale engine and cars. This is on the level with the On3 version at Walt's barn in Griffith Park. Great job.
Some guy made an N scale and is now at Disney's barn at Griffith park.
