John Prine is why we all need to love each other and stop all the hate. That way we can all go to heaven when we die and see Prine in concert once again!
I adore John Prine, even though I never had the chance to see him in person, still there is nobody like him. If there are angels in heaven, he will be there.
Larry Crane there, who was Mellencamp's lead guitarist for years. And David Steele, who has played with Larry, and Steve Earle, Pam Gillis, Trent Sumnar and Gary Allen. Plus the awesome Ed Gaus on drums.
Just a damn shame John’s regular guitarist wasn’t on stage. These guys were showboating with John, where Jason Wilber doesn’t have to try so hard to steal the spotlight, just provides appropriate back up without the ego trip. John alone deserves the spotlight.
@@rickdicl Ha I said "actually" as when someone is on one of these shows with what I think is a pick up band they are not normally as good as this. Thanks for the reply BTW I havent look at this in a couple fo years and isn't it good!

Big part of my childhood. Rest in peace, John.
He saw the world differently, better than most of us!
There ain’t no voice that’s louder than the one inside my brain
I missed years of his music and am so sad about that! I listen to him constantly on Amazon Prime music!
Your hooked, welcome to the family of John Prine Fans
I agree. Thankfully we’ll have his music forever

Dude is still touring
Ooooof.
When a singer/songwriter conssistantly puts out good/great material; every good/great guitarist on the planet wants to do a gig with him.

That is as hard rock as any.
Larry crane and David Steele not a bad guitar combo to have backing ya.
Yes, tasty. I first saw John & his band in '97 with Jason Wilbur shredding.
Not to mention David Jacques on bass
Guy abused that guitar nicely.
Larry Crane u da mang.
Heather Caissie love Larry!
there R 2 people that need hollerin @
Tribute song to John Prine by songwriter Dennis Callahan
That David Steele can play.
I don't want your big French Fry
I don't want your car
I don't want to buy no soap
From no washed-up movie star
You are so much louder
Than the show I wanna hear
With your sugarless gum
Gee, but I'm dumb
Non-alcoholic beer
It's enough to make a grown man
Blow up his own TV
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
I heard you the first time
I heard myself say
Seems like the little woman
Is getting bigger every day
You don't have to tell the neighbours
A little silence ain't no sin
They already think my name is
Where in the hell you been?
Louder, louder, louder, louder, louder
Constantly
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Whoa oh whoa oh
Sweet Serenity
Whoa oh whoa oh
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Ain't it great at the end of the day
When there ain't no sound around
Just me and the fence post
Staring each other down
Nothing but a big bunch of nothing
Driving me insane
Cause there ain't no voice that's louder
Than the one inside my brain
Hey you go on
Go on and let me be
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Whoa oh whoa oh
Sweet Serenity
Whoa oh whoa oh
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Quit hollerin' at me
Cheeky.
Not bad for a former post man.
Love John but can’t stand Conan, he’s way too full of himself.
