- This video shows how to install the Corona QSB CR add-on.
This is a complete Corona RGH install tutorial. In this guide I am using the Xecuter Coolrunner RevC and the Corona QSB Coolrunner Add-on. I'm also using the Xecuter NandX to read/write the nand.

My best boot times came from the following settings:
Coolrunner Rev C: Close 1-2 and JP
Timing file: 3_3xsvf
CPU_RST: Standard blue wire trimmer to about 12cm or 5 inches.

A lot of the consoles in stores now are an updated Corona revision. There are now 4 versions of the Corona. This console is Version one. Its a crap shoot what your going to get. This one was a MW3 console though.

I would love to do a tut on the new DGX. Sadly I've not been very busy lately. Usually the holidays are big sale days for me but this year I didn't sell a single console. That and I'm currently on Lay-Off from my regular job so I just can afford to spend the money on it at this time. I'm well behind on the latest gismos and I am sorry to all my followers for that. Once tax return time comes around I will be playing catch up.
I buy in bulk from several different locations. I get several off Ebay but just recently started looking into Liquidation listings.
Keil, I have a corona V2 4GB, is this the same way? or would i need different stuff? I was looking at a different video and it said i need a Cool runner rev c, QSB, Nand RW Kit, Nand-X and a DGX v1.0S. My dashboard is 16547, I also have a trinity but it do not have a internal hard drive it got corrupted
I love your guides man, but how can I tell which Corona version I have, V1 or V2(4Gb nand)? And can I use the latest TX QSB's for both corona types or does the 4GB qsb only work with V2 and not V1? So many questions, I hope you can help.

You know my knowledge on the corona is a little foggy to say the least! There are 4 different revisions in all so its hard to keep track of what each one needs. If I was you though I wouldn't use this method but rather just get the CR3 Pro and updated QSBs. I'm thinking you need the post fix but I'm just not sure off the top of my head.

Hey Keil are all coronas glitchable?Because isn't their a 250GB and a 4GB model?
I'm getting the trinity console is it ok if I install the coolrunner rev-c with the j-r programmer? On latest dash? Or does it still have to be under a certain one before installing dgx?
i kinda thought do because i know that on the 4GB model the nand chip is on the bottom of the board and the nand is read differently but i wasn't sure if they had found out how to read it yet,thanks though.
Is it worth waiting for the CoolRunner V3 or is the performance of the Corona upgrade good enough?
Can you share what soldering iron you are using?? My iron tip is too fat, I can't get it into where you heat the pad to allow the solder to connect on the qsb and looking to get a better quality iron.

So I think I have a corona v3 cause mine has a 250G hard drive but would these 2 boards and tutorial be all I need or is there something you didn't show us that you soldered in?? Plz respond and help!

Honestly corona boards are a pain in the ass. I wouldn't recommend a novice to try it. Also there are 5 or 6 different versions of the corona so you have to be able to Identify which motherboard type you have before order the parts.
At the moment the 4gb corona can not be hacked
The NandX is discontinued should I just get the JR v2, also should I just wait for cr4. Btw I have a corona v1.

There are actually now I think 4 different versions of the corona. Each require something different I think. I haven't had a chance to work with all the corona motherboard types yet.

+LilDaviso your would have to get that oscillator crystal thingy and wore that up. I've never done that. Always used the qsb. You should be able to find the corona v1 qsb easily enough.

my xbox slim was manufactured on 7-28-2011 which would put it in the trinity motherboard stage...but the voltage/wattage ran is 12v-9.86. so does that mean i have a corona board?
second. what supplies will i need to get started? the vid is a couple years old and i'm not sure if the same nand is being used

No it wont. You will need the V3 Post QSB.
So i have a Corona v3, what would i need to get it up and running (i was looking on an outdated tut so none of the links work and I dont know what im doing anymore).
Corona v3 needs a post fix adapter but the NAND can be read with a standard reader like nandx or jr programmer.
I currently am not advising people to use the cr4 given recent issues frequently surfacing in the support forums. Go with an ace v2. Cheap and works just as well if not better then the cr4.

corona v2 4gb what is needed?
Corona V2 requires a 4gb NAND r/w sd card kit. Some v2 also need a postfix adapter. Not all of them so you would have to open it up and check if the post traces are there or not.
I'd recommend a cr4 for glitch chip.

The post fix adapter is the only variable. You have to remove the heatsink to check if it's needed.

Does anyone know the location of the interal 4gb onboard disk on the original fat white arcade consoles? I have one that got corrupted but not corrupted enough that it doesn't show up, so i can't get system / OS on to my external hdd and updates always install to the internal --- but it doesn't work. Trying to work out a repair on my own but I'm not sure where on this mobo it is. I think I have Jasper, it is X820379-001.
The phat consoles did not have a 4g internal memory. The Jaspers had either a 16/256/512mb. The 256/512 offered very limited internal storage on the onboard nand.
The slim consoles had a 4gb internal storage.
Hmm I meant 512mb.
In the case of the jasper 256/512 the extra storage is on the consoles nand. The only way to change it is to dump the nand, desolder the old one and solder in a new one then write the nand back to the new one. Not a job for the average joe.

I would need to know which motherboard revision you have to be able to tell you what all you would need.
I would suggest an Ace V2 for a glitch chip.

Yes it can be rghed. Yes you can use a Jr. Programmer on this model as it doesn't have the 4gb nand
