This is probably one of the best racquet reviews I've ever seen and I watched many review videos on RUclips. This content is so good because it provides context in terms of how the racket compares to the other racquests instead of a single reviews of just one racket. Very nice review format. I just think it could be even better if we had more of the footage of Ryan hitting with each racket as he speak about them, it would be more entertaining and even possible to us to spot the diferrences between them
Honestly this test is just done in stock form, add some added weight at 12 and the swing weight would be bumped up quite high or change of string for that matter.

I was always told that 55% of a racket is the strings. All the tested rackets would perform differently depending on the strings which are placed in them. Therefore very hard to compare if impossible?
I have used many different tennis racquets in my personal life and I will say my favourite one has always been the Babolat lines of racquets. There is a reason Babolat is one of the best tennis racquets in the bussines and why it never disappoints.
2:55 how does a racquet have a nice pop? I thought it was the strings that contact the ball. Some string are more muted. This is Mis-information. racquet doesnt give it sound but the strings does. Unless they are all stringed with same brand same tension.
Wow I'm surprised he picked the Pure Strike 16x19. That's actually my racket of choice! Usually in most reviews I've seen online people are just shitting on it, glad to hear someone else liked it.
@@fadhilalfaruq1524 Now I've tried other rackets including wilson blade v6, yonex vCore 95 and I seem to play the best with the pure strike simply because I'm not skilled enough for the others.
It would be good to list the 8 racquets reviewed and their specs, stiffness index etc. Was also surprised to hear a pro talking about power. Was under the impression that pros generate their own power and typically play with very flexible low-power frames.
You see a lot more ATP players using "tweener" frames these days then you used to see back in the 80s and 90s. I'm assuming it has to do with the dampened power and higher spin potential that poly strings provide therefore allowing the hard hitting ATP guys to use lighter, more powerful racquets while still keeping the ball in the court.
If the Ezone made a 95, it would sell out like hot cakes. A bit more head balanced with a higher swingweight than the Vcore 95 would be a nice improvement. And Technifibre should make extended versions of their best selling racquets to really take the market share away from other brands

Not sure how you demo rackets with different strings on them. Changes how the rackets feel and perform. The same strings weren't on the comparative rackets until the final two. Not sure how you can feel comfy with the demo of all the rackets without providing this highly important and consistent variable to the equation.....

Guy has an arm problem with a stiff Babolat. Picks another stiff Babolat. I give him 6 months before the arm problem gets back, and he has to switch again.
They can be stiff, but I think people over 40 can still use Babolat's. The Pure Drive is suitable for a large array of players for example. Plus what strings you use can have a huge impact. ATT x
Ohhh noooo!!! I just bought a Pure Drive 2018 and i am 42 y.o.!!! I am done!!! 😂 Anyway it is really stiff indeed and i feel some pain after training. That is why i use it only once per week and play with my other softer rackets too.
It's all relative (one stick vs another). I would say though, most pro's can crank serves at big speeds, so they can certainly hit a ball hard enough. I'm really curious to know what kind of average speeds they used to hit groundstrokes at "back in the day", compared with todays sticks. I think the modern racket and strings have helped a lot with power AND spin, giving players options they maybe didn't have before.
@@bigrobsydney racket technology hasn't changed much since around 1985. Sampras only used the 1985 Wilson Pro Staff his whole career and he DOMINATED the sport for most of the 90's..He even won majors in 2000/2002 before retiring. I've noticed these racket companies will make a great racket one year, then it becomes super popular, then they mute it the next year, causing players to chase the dragon's tail. Learn how to hit the ball first, even if it's with a shitty racket. Once you find a great racket, immediately buy 3 or 4 of them because it will soon be out of production to make room for a most likely muted next version.

I would have done the Vcore 98 and Extreme Tour instead of the Vcore 95 and Strike Tour.
Yes - solid choices
overall he enjoyed each racquet lol.
Yes these rackets were his 8 favourite out of our entire demo selection as they all fitted his preferred specs. ATT x
bought 3 pure strikes.
He ended with a stiff Babolat anyway.
About mid 60's ra - Not comparable to a pure aero - pure drive in terms of stiffness (70s) but i understand your point.
I don't like feel of Babolat Pure Strike.
It's all pretty subjective! ATT x
Guy has an arm problem with a stiff Babolat. Picks another stiff Babolat. I give him 6 months before the arm problem gets back, and he has to switch again.
How could you not give an ATP player a Wilson Blade to demo? lol
He actually tried the Blade off camera but he didn't like it enough for it to be in his top 8. Too underpowered for his game style. ATT x
No prostock racket, btw
Yep on purpose! Lots of pros use retail rackets
Never babolat, unless under 40
I've been thinking of transitioning to Babolat but the stiffness scares me. (And I'm slightly over 40😉)
They can be stiff, but I think people over 40 can still use Babolat's.
320g too heavy? Wow!
Thank goodness I’m 20 lol!
What does he mean by too much control?!
He means not enough free power
Yes - we agree with Jonathan. Maybe struggled putting the ball away or missed some free power on serves etc
Amazon series
if an atp player play good with it probably it isnt good for 99% of the rest of viewers, but i will give a try .
Yonex got robbed.
They were certainly there until the bitter end! All subjective too
