The lahmacun "meat with dough" Turkish pizza in French, is a dish of Levantine cuisine made up of bread topped with minced meat. It is mainly consumed in Turkey, Lebanon and Syria.
Ingredients
for 8 large Turkish pizza or 12 medium:
for the dough:
3 glasses of 250 ml flour
2 tbsp. instant dry yeast
1 C. tablespoon of sugar
1 C. teaspoon of salt
lukewarm water to collect the dough. between 200 and 250 ml depending on the type of flour
for the garnish of the Turkish lahmacun pizza:
300 gr of minced meat
1 green bell pepper 1 red bell pepper and 1 orange bell pepper finely chopped (otherwise 3 medium green bell peppers)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 to mates chopped
1/2 bunch of chopped parsley
1 C. heaped tbsp tomato paste
80 ml olive oil or sunflower oil
salt black pepper, cumin and paprika
