I learn this composition thanks to your tutorial. If I may suggest one more similar composition simply and beautifull Ave Maria Bach, Gounod for your future tutorial. One more thanks for this tutorial.
Thank you for showing this simpler version of Bach's Air, I've been struggling with Siloti's version that I find is more demanding but ultimately more satisfying. At least this can be played and mastered probably more quickly and I suspect will lead nicely on to Siloti's version when I get more proficient - Evano
Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is an easier version which I find better while playing the piano, without the organ's pedalboard played by the feet. In the oryginal (more difficult) version, it was hard to play all the voices with only 2 hands :)
The right pedal is used to keep the notes longer, ever when a key is not longer pressed. I do use the pedal in this composition, however do not start with adding the pedal. Once you feel comfortable with playing this composition with both hands, than you can add the pedal. The pedal needs to be changed (that means stopped and pressed again) for every change in the harmony (e.g. when there is a change of the cords).
