Katya Petrova I like it but I never can say something is my favorite. I like a lot of things and I just quit trying to assign some quantitative value to stuff a long time ago. I like slow and melodic stuff so this is right up my alley!
TruthSurge I concur. However, though I might not be able to list my preferred pieces (Too many to count), I find myself coming back to this one in particular every couple of days.
This Interpretation is very very good, perfect in its way of expression, not dull, but not overexaggerated dynamic expression, just well-balanced. I like it very much!
I was just 11 yrs old when I first became aware of this incredible piece, then regularly played on the piano amongst other classics by our school Science teacher as we boys filed quietly into the school Hall for morning Assembly. I have loved it and later all music by Bach ever since, that was over 65 yrs ago. It was the reason why I learned to play the piano and went on to develop and appreciate the wonderful music of JS Bach. I’ve always been grateful to Mr Morris our Science Teacher for subconsciously introducing me to the world of JS Bach. His compositions have been the source of great joy and comfort to me all my life. It was indeed a great gift to give to a child.
This is the most wonderful execution of one of the most touching and beautiful pieces of music ever written. It captures the perfection of Bach's composition with wonderful constraint - and with underlying passion that breaks opens my heart. Many, many thanks!
the most beautiful version of G. there isn't any decoration and exaggeration. and i can feel that he played with great constrain of force and emotion. the beauty of serenity is in this constrain. meanwhile it induces me to reach for the tension and enthusiasm beneath this constrain. so who can give the piano score??
This has been my favorite piano song since forever! I was like 4 years old when I first heard it and never forgot about it, even though I’m now 19💕😌 Thank God I finally found it! I’m so gonna learn how to fully play it now 😊
It took me years to finally have found it back in 2011 and I've been listening to it every now and then ever since. And btw, it's been a year, have you learned to play it?
I just learnt the very very simple version of how to play this song. Its my favourite classical piece. Absolute fire with the extra chords on the left hand
I like this rendition so much more than some of the more famous ones. It's a sweet, understated piece and this performance didn't ruin it with too much flourish, playing with the meter, overdoing the 'expression', overdoing the chords, etc. Thanks!
Someone commented "Beautiful touch", and so it is. His evenness and legato is impressive and moving. And, dear Yamaha P140, consider yourself complimented.
Taiwanese drama " Autumn's Concerto" brought me here I will always be reminded of that beautiful drama with actors Vanness Wu , Chris Wu and actress Ady An. It's good to use classical music in the OST of Asian dramas. This piano piece is indeed very beautiful and soothing to the ears. That's why it touches the soul like becoming a means of communication unseen by human eyes.
Bach is one my favorite classical music composers and this song by him on the piano is calming and lovely. I play on the piano and Bach is one those musicians i love listening to.

Je la travaille actuellement (4 ans de piano) mais j'ai malheureusement du mal à assembler les 2 mains. Je vais persévérer. Merci encore pour ce beau moment.
Just this one song in his repertoire makes Bach the master of simple and beautiful but you keep on discovering other perfect pieces he's written and your mind explodes.
Oh wow, instant relaxiation archived, the sound of the piano is so pure and clear and the light string effect in the background...this is just utter perfection, you would make J.S. Bach very proud of this gorgeous rendition!!! Thumbs up big time! Love love love it!

If only this kind of music was played to everybody. I'm sure the world will at least calm down even for the entire duration of the piece.
Sure? Apparently the concentration camp Nazis went home after their slaughters to listen to Mozart.
@@nigelcairns5517 That's why Mozart isn't Bach.
