What do bullets sound like downrange subsonic suppressed vs supersonic

What do bullets sound like downrange suppressed vs unsuppressed? Today we're going to test how loud different bullets are and what they sound like from the shooter's perspective vs downrange. Our test subjects today are 22lr, 9mm, 45acp, 300 blackout, and 5.56.

I know people that hunt with subsonic 300 blackout suppress against hogs and they don't even know where it's coming from they just stand around nonchalant after the first shot

FYI, from what I have read, those types of inexpensive decibel meters are not fast enough to accurately record accurate readings from gunshots. To get ones that work for firearms I think are like $2500+

That is correct but it gives a relative idea. At this time $2,500 is like 50% of our gross revenue!

@@RuggedAdventures indeed. I was a EHS director for years, used those decibel meters, can be fickle. Don't know how large your range is but it would be interesting to measure sound even further out. Cheers!
