My first Rare game was Alien 8 on the Amstrad that I found in a bargain bin at Wembley Market.
So quite the most roundabout way of discovering an amazing company! :D

First learned about Jetpac through Jepac Refueled. Still one of my favourite titles.
Need to reboot my 360for this. And Nuts'n'Bolts, and the Banjo HD's and Viva Piñata, and Kameo of course. So much fun to be had... to be have I guess. They're still great.
I grew up with jet pack on dk64 and I played it more than the main game and had no idea what a zx spectrum was but I loved it
Never played the original until they added it to this Xbla title. Absolute gem and was very happy to get the retro cyclist achievement! I remember Will Overton from Super Play magazine. Amazing artist. Anyone remember Super Control? Mag.

if you ask me they should make a whole 3D platformer/shooter out of jetpac and it could be his big come back.
That would be neat, you land on a planet getting fuel (probably not big containers labelled "fuel," maybe you send little robots underground and they randomly resurface in a nearby location with fuel inside them). Probably the most fun part would be all the different funny planets they can create without spelling out to the player what's happening there, the players can try to guess for themselves but it doesn't really matter, it's just a fun thing.

I know this isent a sea of theives video but will there be a third person option for sea of thieves? whenever there is most games don't show it. they just show it in first person.
I'm probably gonna hunt down a proper 128k Spectrum and run Jetpac on it, heheh.
You can even run the thing on a Spectrum 16K! Actual magic.

A Wii U version can't come out. Legally, they can only release on platforms created by Microsoft.
Rare continued to make games for portable Nintendo systems, even after Microsoft bought them.
You can play a Jetpac minigame on DK64 on Wii U.
