Your build will do better if you don't let yourself run out of mana. If you watch your gameplay, when you run out of mana, your chain lightning doesnt "pop" when it's done. Most of that happens b/c you spawn too many chain lightning at one time, you should really only have 2-4 at one time. That way you won't run out of mana and your chain lightning will "pop" and do more damage. He goes over what happens when you run out of mana like you are and how to avoid it. Nice build though!
im the same, firewall/hydra/firebolt with fireball enchantment, considering swapping to this as i feel the game is going to be gearing us towards lightning, so easier to get everything done bar the bosses at the end game as gearing other builds might take more time, but if the damage isnt as good as blizzard or a fire build i will hard pass
really want to know the best leveling/farming build, then end game build, the most powerful, because being godly is fun :) im considering swapping but scared ill make the wrong choice again and get stuck with it lol. on the plus side, lightening is very easy to see in dungeons and hell tide and helps you see where you are lol
Havn't tried it this season yet, but I imagine there will still be a decent ice build at endgame! Lots of people are just trying the new buffed firewall and chain lightning at the moment
as far as im aware blizzard and orb builds got buffed and are strong, but people mainly played blizz/ orb or firebolt last season so probably want a change, and now all builds are viable, but i want to strongest build out the gate, no messing, praying its not blizzard again so i can play somnething else :)
Honestly better to use the enchantment that gives you 25%+ more dmg if you don’t have a defensive skill, and replace ice shield with orbs then use the enchantment that has them float around you
This build is fun but definitely NOT A LEVELING BUILD. I ran this build and it was excruciatingly difficult to kill anything without popping Unstable Current, I was constantly out of mana and the chain lightning was dealing between 2-6k of damage. I had to switch back to Incinerate to get to WT4. It only becomes viable once you've obtained the new unique Axial Conduit, which you likely won't get until lv70+ WT4 from Infernal Horde chest.
Dude totally agree. With leveling gear CL is a wet noodle. Im sticking firewall/hydra till later in wt4 lol. Swear i fought a blood bishop for like 6 minutes with this build lol
@@rionnagelyeah, it works. Just a big time sink getting the build together to level viably. Tons of easier builds to level with that require pretty much no setup. You can firewall 1-100 butt naked

Vid says 5 points into Arc Lash Build says 1 point Vid says Arc Lash - Flickering Build says Arc Lash - Glinting Build doesn't even take Teleport till later Build wants you to take Vyr's at 33 points spent, but it starts at 2? So you only have 32 points spent in game when it asks for Vyr's

Chance to cast twice only tempers on weapons and not the gloves as you put in the how it works on your mobalytics
I"ve never used teleport in my build. I use the Metamorphasis aspect, which turn you into a cloud of bats and functions basically like teleport.

Don't need it, chain Lightning is very strong without it. But once you get it, it gets stronger/faster
I mean it’s good if it drops early, I got mine at level 20. It’s kinda nice visually like gravitational but make it lightning 😂
Im lvl 61 and haven’t seen one yet. This build is kind of painful without it
