🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you!!!!
That literally sounds like a piece written by a professional journalist for PR ir an ad etc 🤔
Please bro, I can take Michiel in a heartbeat, in a water balloon fight. ;) other than that I tend to agree...lol
"Violence is always negative." How very true and wise.
🙏🏻
Great video. Greetings from Canada. Former security in after-hours , strip clubs, and thug rap concerts. Always good when the guy doesn't hit his head on the floor
Thanks brother! You know it. We have to explain why he is not getting up or why he has brain damage. With some it’s hard to prove that the brain damage was already there 🤣
@@schoolofselfprotection I was arrested before when a night club customer said he would shoot me with a gun. I put him in an ambulance. It took 2 years of court dates for my name to be cleared. Self defense. We gotta be careful
Michiel and Lee from Urban Combatives are the only 2 i know that teach real life situations work. And they always say do not go to the ground in the street. And everyone else is promoting JJ as the thing that will beat everyone. Yes maybe in the dojo but Michiel teaches self defense for your life. Big difference.🙏
Great seeing the training successfully work in real life scenario
Thank you!
I cherish every one of his videos, he gets to the real nuts and bolts of self defense. My favorite instructor on RUclips 🏆💯
So kind!🙏🏻
As always, excellent stuff. I know that door security can often be a thankless task so here’s a big thanks from me. I can sleep a bit easier knowing that folks like you are doing security on places my kids go to.
Thank you for this nice comment!
Awesome video bro, good breakdown, clinical that with minimal damage 💥👊
Thanks brother!

There is so much to be learned here in such a short clip - keep ‚em coming👍
Thanks, will do!
Too short a clip in this case imo !
Great presentation. It is fantastic example
Professional work, great explanation. Thank you for sharing!
You are welcome!
Great stuff as always.
Love the UC videos, teaching combat Ju Jitsu for self defence and definitely learn lots from the practical applications shown in these clips - keep up the good work gents, stay safe and thanks 🙏
Michiel "The Beast" 🙂 Mulder...great stuff as always and simple and easy to pick up.
excellent..... we learn real knowledge from you, keep up the very good work
I could listen to the Dutch Maestro all day, his brilliant method of teaching is the best on YT. Lee Morrison obviously too, tremendous.
Very kind. Thank you!! Much appreciated 🙏🏻
Looks good and works!
Not even looks too violent. I'm impressed.
Love your tactics and your channel.
Thank you!
This is interesting as the "Opening the gate" with the legs reminds me of classical kung fu takedowns. Any preference for the hand grips?
In a winter setup, a jacket is fine.
Can one clinch to the ears, neck or long hairs? Or in summer just the T-Shirt for example?
Thank you
great video i watch all your videos so many unrealistic videos out there between you and lee morrison are the only self protection clips i watch thank you
Thanks for that!
I love this real footage videos they are very informative ❤
Glad you like them! Friday we have a new video with real footage!
Great work brother. 👏
Much appreciated!
Great video. Greetings to the U.S. Your videos are very informative and educational. Your humbleness is greatly appreciated. Violence is never pretty, but it is a necessary evil. U.S. Army veteran from 1989 to 1997.
Awesome. Thanks 🙏🏻
My pleasure!
awesome - thank you sir
Most welcome!
Hi there Michiel.
Peace be with you.
Thank you again for another helpful video.
There are always those who think that your friendly composure is a weakness and that it must be dealt with by disrespectful behavior.
Its obvious to me that their ego is in the way of critical thinking.
Again, an easy thumbs up !
Well said! Thank you very much!
Great teacher Michael
Well done 👍
Another excellent video Michiel! That takedown technique was perfect! Oh. Please be careful working security my friend, and I hope one day you might consider going into executive security. Like bodyguard work. You would be amazing at that. Happy New Year brother!
Doing close protection jobs already brother! Hope to quit Security one day..
Most realistic channel !
As always with your clips: a well presented subject, realistic and effective.
Thank you a lot for sharing it, Michiel!

Its nice to hear you say try not to fight all the time and just have them walk off .just make sure they leave the area and not come back shooting. Very good training.😊😊
Quality content
Thank you!
Good video
Thanks!
Opino que si funcionan esas técnicas 😸 i want more
coach can you give us routine workout fot building muscles and strenght same time for body?
There is a condition program for combatives in the ink!
❤ the best
I dig that technique man
Love your channel just come across it is it always best to use the palm strike for street defense always here it's not but would rather hear from yourself ?
Thank you for the kind words.
Absolutely! Prevents your from breaking the hand! Hammer fist and palmstrikes work great!
Yet another great tactic to learn
I wonder what your job is
Are you in the army..?
Another thing is that I'd like to be a corrections officer or maybe police one day, so I start doing Jiu-jitsu, but I also watch these, and will this stuff be useful for it..?
Still doing doors, still loving your stuff 🤟
Awesome. One of the few who can show the theory be applied in real life, and with video. Please keep going, your stuff is great.
This guy is a great successor for Lee Morrison's work 👏
Thank you!
Nice job.
1 question. Why did you look away and how did you protect yourself at that time?
That was a setup. You cannot protect yourself when you do that. It’s an assessment you make. That can work out or fail on you.
I thought the same thing, I see it in police officers all the time, I understand it as a scan for threats, but if you have a partner that is their job, if you are by yourself that brings in complications. But didn’t know it was done with intent. Thanks for the explanation.
I did it a lot with a thai clinch and a neck extension. Sometimes people would put their hand on the ground to fight the takedown. My solution is to do a head+arm lock, but normaly I would handcuff them on the ground... whats your solution for that (hands on the ground)?
Su intención estaba clara así que muy buena anticipación
Thank you!
Always good with real clips . He looked tiny lol 😆
🔝 Instructor, also
Your online courses are 🔝 your methode of teaching is easy to understand and practical for real life self protection. Thanks 🙏 clayton from 🇲🇹 Malta.
Thanks for your support!!!!
👍
We appreciate the real footage, it gets real now! 👍
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hello there, that was an amazing educationial video. It was good to see the actual the footage in which the technique is performed. The technique was straight to the point and efficient, don't get me wrong. But is there a reason why you didn't add a foot sweep, because that could have helped also to take the guy down. Is that maybe because you want to control how he falls to minimize the impact on him? Just asking out of curiosity. Keep up the good work!
I really like your technics and thoughts? But why always so aggro? You are TEACHING ... No need to talk and act with wide open eyes and behave like a seargent in a war 😂 there no need to demonstrate your maskulism all the time. Look at teachers in Japan, Thailand whatever. They are calm and relaxed.
You are confusing two things: martial arts and combatives. The aggression is the number 1 thing you need in a street confrontation. Nobody is fearful when angry. You can only be in 1 emotional state at the time. It’s a state management thing. When adrenaline and the threat of multiples and weapons are possible you want and need to control yourself first before going to the physical stuff.
Thank you mate, great video. Perhaps you were talking to this man while being too close to him and you also lost eye contact at some time. He could hit you or stub you. Of course, my comments are based on a video only, you were the on site individual with the situation awareness. Happy New Year!
This was deception. Looking away to hide intention. Like a dog before he bites. Of course there is risk. But people often do it without knowing it. If you want zero risk…don’t have human interaction at all😆
@@schoolofselfprotection lol staying away from humans is helpful sometimes and mind-clearing!
