Thank you so so so so much for this! I watched this two months ago and i was very hopeless but now i own my little business with this hack! I wish you the best and i'm sending lots of love to you! 😍😍
@jarettwentick6818. I think they made a mistake when they had the red wire (positive) on the cotton swab and the black (negative) on the knife. They realized it wasn't working and switched them. Then they do it a second time to make sure it worked. It didn't though. It was etched some but dark looking. The second time with the whiteout they just did it once with the black wire on the swab. It worked very well and was cleanly etched. The whiteout made it easier to do more detailed or precise design. This would be handy for marking tools or craft projects where decorating metal is involved.

Yeah that was a special knife. It was for demonstration. If it keeps someone from stealing your $500 SNAP ON torque wrench it didn't ruin it. If someone with drawing skills drew a cool design on the knife or your name in a fancy font the knife would not be ruined. It would be customized.

Popular Science magazine had this as an article in the 70s.
A blacksmith taught me you can do this with just mustard but it's a little different. The mustard will rust a image in
That liquid paper trick is awesome 😎
So he has the red alligator clip on the Q-tip and a few seconds later he has the black one on the Q-tip so what the F?🙄🤷
it is not engraving it is etching... : )
Does it really matter? Everyone knows what was meant, you don’t need to correct others. Remember, English isn’t everyone’s primary language.
At 2.33 in the video it’s switched from- on knife to + on knife according to the color wire why is that ? Did u switch polarity?
That`s what I was wondering.
He didn`t do that on the other knife!

I think he needs to squeeze those alligator clips some more for additional effect ha ha ha
It's more effective if you use the main outlet.
yes yes you are right! But be very careful, it can give you an electric shock
Oh my God, U are best
Thank you ! It's very nice to see such feedback
Hey uh,when I tried this the qtips were burning and turning black,is that normal or am I doing something wrong
Car battery and jumper cables, check.

Where you been? People been doing this for over 50 years. Except we have been using vinegar not water.
Great hack. But did you actually mean to etch a pair of bollocks on the first knife?! 🤓
Cud. Nikt nie zapytał "Co zrobić kiedy mam dwa czarne/czerwone przewody". Jednak jest szansa dla ludzkości.
Lo q haces es oxidar metal
one by one, he pulls out 15 things. Then he pulls out an engraver.
What engraver? you understand that you won’t need it! try it, it really works! The main thing is to observe the polarity with the wires
Looks a lot harder than a dollar store engraver.
😂😂😂😂😂
👍
Just use acid ! Waste of time !
Acid is more dangerous, stinks and has to be carefully discarded.
You're a waste of time.
hello adam wassup holmes?
Fuck it.😂😂
Horrible!👎you have just destroyed the whole knife...

Pas terrible
OMG !! I could not be bothered , I have better things to do with my time .😀😀
Marking expensive tools, crafting where decorating metal is involved and other things. It is interesting and can be useful for the right person.
Nobody asked and nobody cares.
You are right I do not care about your reply , so why reply then nobody asked you to 😂😂😂
