  • Engrave metal with a simple battery! 🔋 You will thank me all your life , Today I want to share with you a simple and fast way to engrave using a regular battery. To do this, you will need two wires - black and red. Connect the black wire to the minus of the battery, and the red wire to the plus. Using electrical tape, you can accurately engrave the desired shape. Simply draw and cut out the shape or initials you wish to engrave.
Next, take the usual salt and water. Connect the negative wire to the knife and the positive wire to the cotton swab. Patience, our engraving of birdies is ready!
I did it all very quickly, but I recommend that you take your time and take more time to get the best result.
However, that's not all! Don't turn off the video, because now I will show you an even easier and more effective way!
Wipe the knife with foil first. Then take any white corrector. I asked my wife to write the text as she is better with type. After writing the text, wipe the corrector with acetone.
How do you like the result? It turned out great, didn't it? Now you can use this method to give these engravings to your friends!
Thank you for watching! Like and don't forget to subscribe to my channel! I promise to show you many more interesting things!
    Your professional in this field.

Does it really matter? Everyone knows what was meant, you don’t need to correct others. Remember, English isn’t everyone’s primary language.

@jarettwentick6818. I think they made a mistake when they had the red wire (positive) on the cotton swab and the black (negative) on the knife. They realized it wasn't working and switched them. Then they do it a second time to make sure it worked. It didn't though. It was etched some but dark looking. The second time with the whiteout they just did it once with the black wire on the swab. It worked very well and was cleanly etched. The whiteout made it easier to do more detailed or precise design.
This would be handy for marking tools or craft projects where decorating metal is involved.

Yeah that was a special knife. It was for demonstration. If it keeps someone from stealing your $500 SNAP ON torque wrench it didn't ruin it. If someone with drawing skills drew a cool design on the knife or your name in a fancy font the knife would not be ruined. It would be customized.
