Are you going to announcea public apology for the nieve younger version of yourself as well? If you want to cry and have a cancel culture tantrum go cancel the dark web instead. Where drugs and sex tracked children are being sold. That's a real crisis.
To provide context - this case was how I learned the word "affluent". People at this time were not making fun of SA. They were making fun of rich boys who they thought were lying about SA to talk their way out of a crime. The mention of SA (at first) felt like it came out of nowhere. It was a time when we weren't aware of how common SA and other evils were. It was before social media. Now, we know how much more common it is and we, as a society, are more equipped & willing to support people who have been abused. We have come a long way. But I don't condemn people from the time this aired who didn't know better. I do, however, wonder why this clip is still live - because now, we do know better. Regardless of the facts around the Menendez case, this sets a bad example for survivors who need to speak out.

Just watching crime weekly were Stephanie Harlow is going true this case. And she was shocked that on RUclips and as it was aired live at the time. Photos of Lyle that were taken by his father when he was six of his private parts were shown to all. And as far is Stephanie saying it is still shown now on RUclips.
I kinda get why they haven't taken this down. It shows a discusting way people dealt with abuse in the not so long ago past. But RUclips needs to blur the photos from the case. That dose not need to be public. And in my opinion should have only been shown to the jury and witnesses.

Yup
I want to know why our generation has more common sense than our “role models” I mean wtf
We have a great sense of humor. John Malcovich's wig and fake crying is absolutely hysterical!!!! 😂😂😂😂 (they are guilty)!
Because our generation isn't soft like yours. 😑
@@kathleen9768 I thoroughly enjoyed how John was spot on in character. 😂
@@Bombo505 It's the first time I've seen him not being serious which made it even funnier. You're correct. He was spot on! 😂😂😂
@@kathleen9768 This is not humor unless your generation is a bunch of sadistic fucks which I’m starting to believe. Nothing about abusive is funny and your old enough to know that.
I love John Malkovich one of my favorite actors as a kid!
y’all are so messed up. the brothers were struggling so much during the trials, this isn’t something to make into a joke they were abused .
They were struggling with their Method acting lessons during their trial.
@@jn8ive60 lol ikr. Not to mentioned that 911 call could’ve became a actor to make the money he so desperately wanted 😂
@@shannon9279 my friend I really really doubted lyle menendez because I agree with you on this, he's great at fake crying, and he is highly skilled at using emotions to manipulate people. I did not believe his tearful testimony one bit! In this respect he is really very cunning! But still, I do not doubt that both of them were abused. I mean just pause for a moment and think, there were naked pictures, a tape recording of lyle's former bff in which he revealed that lyle confided in him about the m0estation way before the murders, many psychologists testified for the defense, even today many body language experts believe them. Also, erik is a person with a conscience, he could not handle the guilt and hence confessed to dr ozeil which ultimately led to their arrests. Such a person is not capable of killing for money. And also a letter has been found which erik wrote to his cousin andy cano in which he has said that the abuse incidents with the dad are still going on. Ps no hate intended, just wanted to share some facts.
@@sana_the_bookaholic same, I doubted them too until I watched the long trial in which there's even photos of their private parts as kids. You can see that they're trying to hold back so they can talk. Their cheeks and face turn red, this wouldn't happen if it was fake crying. And as someone who went through similar abuse myself, his story makes 100% sense. Down to him trying it on his brother as a kid as well.
@@jinefer63530 yes lyle was sobbing very bitterly, maybe he was genuinely crying but I agree with prosecutor Pamela bozanich on this one, he is capable of crying and lying at the same time. As I stated earlier, he's a great manipulator and is fully capable of using emotions to gain sympathy. So I don't believe his words. But still I support him and his brother bcz they had evidences and witnesses who corroborated their claims. If judge Stanley biasberg (I have misspelled his name purposely) did not limit the defense in the second trial, they would've never gotten lwop.
And I'm so so sorry to know about your past abuse. I'm also an abuse survivor and when someone tells me that they suffered any type of abuse, it totally breaks my heart. I hope you're healing well. Sending loads of love. If you ever need a friend to talk with, I'm always here 💕💕
how dare they to do this it’s disrespectful they are Lucky that they weren‘t treated like that
It's disrespectful to murder your parents in cold blood. They weren't abused.
@@kathleen9768 how would u even know that?
@@kathleen9768 well it’s disrespectful that they did the type of video
stfu they were
this is disgusting. these boys went through rape, abuse, and so much trauma.. i really hope this writer was fired.
i want a whole list of names for the sketch writers, audience who found it entertaining, whoever gave the pass for the sketch to even exist, and why anything related could react by laughing at the matter. horrible, sick, twisted people. how can this still be up here?
It's funny 😂😂😂
They really went through shit and abuse just for a couple of grown ass men to make some bs like this. It’s not okay like at all.
