I like the simplicity in how you took care of the brakes, only thing i will critique is that you are only supposed to use those drill brushes in a clockwise rotation
Thank you one of my goals with these videos is to show that it can be easy and straightforward to work on your own car. As for the rotation of the brush I use both directions to get the best results. Thank you and don't forget to subscribe
Are the rotors held on by that flanged nut? I need to replace mine all around asap, just trying to get an idea of what to expect when I break it all down. great vid!
And you are correct we had premature pad wear on that side which did a little damage to the caliber so we had to replace the caliber breaks and rotors about 1st about 2 months ago. That is why I always say replace the rotor or if there is any and a scoring on it. Thank you for your comment and notice in that and have a blessed day thank you
@@willsshopdayton5206 Nope, never replace a part not in need of replacing, replacing struts in 2 is also a mistake. If it aint broke dont fix it. Only replace broken parts😂😂😂 Premature pad wear, lmao Only time rotor gets torn up is if your metal to metal, a brake or break pad as u call em 😂 cant eat a metal rotor, sorry
@@Nelson4207it’s not about the pad eating the rotor. The rotors are much harder than the pads, obviously that’s why pads are replaced more often. But when a rotor and pad are worn to metal on metal, especially as thin as that one was, well below discard spec, that rotor becomes trashed and any new pads will be eaten by it in a month or less just like Will said above. You might replace brake pads once a month; but I’m riding mine going on 2 years and just now about to change them because proper maintenance is much more cost effective than doing a half-assed job

Not any technical jargon which is pretty helpful.
Thank you I try to speak in normal terms while letting me know what the parts are appreciate the comment have a blessed day don't forget to subscribe
Need someone to do mine.
Cant believe you reused those old worn rotors. Just gonna lead to premature pad wear
