At least 50% of ALL male law enforcement officers in the whole country have been investigated for 'Domestic Abuse' (aka Pummeling their own wives, children, mothers, etc). If those troopers were ever investigated for 'Domestic Abuse', then this suspect should receive six months in prison!

I don’t believe that badge allegation. That’s a Metro tactic. That guy didn’t stop and take that cops badge off of him and then take off.

Depending on the speed, anything and everything can be detached during impact . That includes a badge from a shirt

@@gregcaulley4094 But what’s the likelihood it ending up in his car while running from the scene???

@Polemic-2525 You can't put a percentage on it because there are a lot of factors involved. Some would include speed of the car, how the trooper was standing, where on the front end of the car was contact made and were any windows rolled down or broken out. I'm trying to be careful and not gross anyone out but let's just say there are quite a few things that can freakishly find its way inside of a vehicle. Such traffic crashes are never pretty, including the recovery of as much of the body as possible. Because of the sensitivity of this particular dui manslaughter case or however the state words the charge, these investigations are done with the best investigators they have and the over-sight by the top brass is heavy. There is no funny business like some might suggest. They build the most air-tight case as possible so even the best defense attorneys will have nothing to create any doubt. The other troopers, including squad mates and those close to these troopers, won't tolerate the possibility of the case being dismissed due to any form of tampering with evidence. They want every "i" dotted and "t" crossed, they want the district attorney to have their best lawyers assigned to prosecute the case. And they pray to have the case handled by a judge that will lock the prison door and throw the key away.
