06-19-2024 Surfside Beach, TX - Police Tend To Women Stranded In Storm Surge

As I was gathering content in the town, a police officer asked for my help getting to a vehicle stranded in water. I invited him to board my vessel and about a half mile down the road we found the car. A man with truck was able to drive thru the high water to pick them up. The girls abandoned the vehicle and were evacuated from the area. I brought the cop back to his vehicle. No injuries were reported.
