- This video showcases 27 cars that are barely featured in recent racing games. Unlike in the Forgotten Cars videos, here I don't take the last appearance's date into account, when including the car.

I couldn't feature many of the highly requested cars in the Forgotten Cars series, due to them appearing in a game or two released after 2015. However those cars, eventhough appearing in newer games, could be considered somewhat forgotten, so I decided to present them in a separate video. Hope you'll enjoy!

Jaguar xjr-15 was in gran turismo 2 aswell
RUF yellow bird was also in gran turismo 2- gran turismo 4 aperntly it will come in gran turismo 7 currently there is RUF ctr3
as for Jaguar XJR-15, it's added in recent version of Asphalt 9
We're all happy that Porsche is now in every new racing game but leaving RUF behind is not acceptable. I love the 911(930) Turbo but I also love the Yellowbird.
There are endless RUF cars that I would love to see featured, the CTR1 is a prime example but there's so many others too
I prefer Gemballa, they used to be featured in a quite few Genki Racing games

The Volkswagen w12 is striking, it’s so simplistic yet sleek and is so satisfying to look at
i think it was in test drive unlimited 1 as well
it that got into production it could probably became at it's time the real game changer , beating a CGT, Enzo, Zonda, SLR, Murcielago a supercar made by the brand for the people (volkswagen : people's car)
@@coach4050 Which is precisely why it would have been a sales failure, it made more sense to develop it into another car rather than a Volkswagen as the brand simply doesn't have the same allure to the intended market
@@zachariah74 audi didn't have that much of a pedigree to make a supercar and look at the R8, the Nardo could have a similar outcome.( the nardo had everything to be a success ( faster than most cars of it's time proper design, an as a vw it couldn't cost as much as it's main competence) and that's not the reason why this one was canceled( this and the audi avus are essentially the same car) it's because vw was closing a deal to buy bugatti and was already thinking about how the veyron it could be represented in many other models :
Bentley hunaudieres (double colored body (front light (rear bugatti lights), same engine ( N/A in this case))
Audi Rossemeyer (the front is literally the same as the veyron one, same engine (N/A))

@@coach4050 Sales failure. Not outright failure. Why would you market a car as a Volkswagen if you have the Bugatti name to use instead? You are just repeating my point, which we can agree on.
This channel with it's forgotten cars videos really speaks for the people who actually care about interesting content and not satisfied with the same 50 NPC cars that are in literally every racing game like the GT-R, Aventador or the 10th gen Evo. Keep up the good work and hopefully at least some of these will appear in future or recent titles with updates.

gotta give credits to Asphalt 9 for at least including these 2000s monsters despite locked behind huge paywall.
especially since either some of these cars has long gone the licensing goes to the limbo or modern game companies just cba to get these cars into their games just because it's old ass shit
the chrysler was a hell of P2W but the rest of the cars can be unlocked for free lol
As an A9 player who has mixed feelings to this game (i find it alright, nor good, nor bad for F2P people).
ME412 is very P2W and only appeared in its event
Furai is F2P. I own one
Same can be said for Cien, although it may take a while to get it (it can be unlocked in an event which runs every Sat-Sun)
Shelby GR-1 is F2P too (however will take a while to max out)
The W12 Nardo, on the other hand.... You gotta be lucky to get your hands on one considering the car is very good (probably only beaten by Mclaren F1 LM in its class) and its only possible to unlock it in a special event which will re-run every year or so. And a lot of people will tryhard on it
Well, if you're on PC, you can use a trainer to play them offline....just don't use them online lol

This is a good list. Only two cars I'd add is the Panoz Roadster and the Panoz GTR-1. Shame that the Panoz brand doesn't get featured much in games anymore I grew up playing Midtown Madness and always wanting a Roadster

The Panoz GTR-1 in it's glorious Purple Midnight color, heck yeah, & the gray color, it looks outstanding in those colors
I think the car got featured again in the newer Grid game, i think it was called as a Q9 or something, idk if it's any different, hopefully this will allow it to appear more in newer racing games, i also miss the Panoz Abruzzi
The panoz gtr1 has been featured in Grid legends if you haven't checked it out already, it's a joy to race!
A lot of cars in Driveclub are only featured in Driveclub. E.G. Renault Twin’Run Concept and Peugeot EX-1. So I guess you could say they are forgotten

Thing was brutal in Midnight Club 3, was well worth doing all the exotic club races for.
It's even sadder when you realize it would be more commonly featured if Mercedes didn't stop Chrysler from producing it.

The Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept needs to be featured in modern racing games. It was everywhere in the early 2000's, but its nonexistent now.
That's what I'm saying, I'm hoping they put it in gt7 like they did with the previous ones along with the Ford puma
The Monaro was featured in Horizon 4 and 5 as a Vauxhall
What breaks my heart even more is when cool cars are actually in the game already but you can't drive them. Instead you get them as traffic cars or parked cars. Mazdaspeed3 is a prime example of this.

They should have renamed it in FH3 too the Mazda 3 MPS because that is the model Australia got.
Like people ever used the Mazda 3 🤦♂️ in Forza 3-6 I never see some one use it . Its ugly and and not a highly regarded hot hatch
I miss the XJR-15 and Shelby GR-1, should be more present.
I seriously missed the Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220 in games. More games should have them.

the Chrysler ME-412 and Volkswagen W12 were my favorite cars in Test Drive Unlimited because of how obscure they were, even more so today.
I know you already showcased it, but the Marussia B2 will always be my favorite forgotten car. its easily my dream car.

My biggest gripe with modern racing games is the car selection, newer supercars and cars in general just don't have soul.
I'd add 2nd gen Lotus Elise to that list. Kinda the only games that represented it lately were Forza Horizon 3 and 4, in modern NFS games there's exige instead of it

The Speedster shown in the video is actually the Speedster Turbo. GT6 was the final game to have the 2000-2003 Speedster, but the first game to have one as a playable was MSR: Metropolis Street Racer.

i miss the Pontiac GTO & Holden Monaro. they were my favorites to drive in the mid 2000's NFS games.
I fucking love the W12. Sad it doesn't appear much in games.
The Holden Monaro absolutely deserves more love. The past few times I've seen it in a game, it's been the Vauxhall Monaro VXR, and that just isn't quite the same for me.
I remember there being a glitch in TDU 1 with the ME Four-Twelve that would send it flying

In fact, there are really a LOT of cars that can be used as such examples, but I personally miss the non Cinque Zonda's in the latest games: C12, F, F roadster and others

exactly my thought, we can only play with a wacky model from forza. For how obtainable and popular this car is in car community, it's shocking that it's not featured more in racing games.
Sadly people only cares about the E46 and the 2016 model.
@@arturgaecki966 Yea its sad as a 36 owner i find it very disapointing for game developers to ignore such a great looking car with so much character plus here in czech republic most people preffer the 36 chassi over the 46 chassi and the e46 is usually the ´i just got my licence and want a cheap rwd car or i want a cheap gruz to drift in winter´

The Cobalt was also in Midnight Club L.A. the one for Xbox 360 and PS3
You could show the full view of the car in the game. It’s more informative that way 🚗🚘

The very sad thing about some of these cars like the W12 is that they are probably in legal hell because nobody cares about them and they only pop up in mobile games cause those people are just loaded with cash and throw money at the problem. And the rest are probably exclusive. An example that pops into my mind is the McLaren SLR which was in the original 2012 Hot Pursuit but isn't in the remaster and is essentially absent from all games except Gran Turismo.
*Hot Pursuit 2010, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren along with others cars was removed from the remastered version due of the license expired.
The SLR is in rivals as dlc
I still miss the Lingenfelter Corvette from the first two Forza Motorsport games.

No, the developers doens't need the real car to put in a virtual game, Mazda Furai was added in a lot of games after get burned in 2008.
For me its the Toyota Chaser, its my absolute Dream car and its basically a 4 Door Supra.
Non-enthusiasts will mistake it for a Camry :(

The Ford TS50 is so forgotten that this video did not even feature it
TS50 only can appear on the Forgotten Cars on Modern Games because its only playable in NFS Hot Pursuit 2, doesn't are valid to this new type of video.

Its very rare to see Ruf cars on racing games after the exclusive Porsche and EA contract expiration.
The crew 2 had some ruf cars as far as I recall.

The reason why the g35 isn’t in that much racing games is because it’s literally just a Nissan 350z but heavier, less aftermarket support, and less popular. No point of adding a car that’s nearly the same as a more popular car but slightly worse.

@@camaro7444 not even the G37 makes many appearances, the only representation that Infiniti even gets anymore is Need For Speed Payback, Heat, and Unbound having the Q60s, and Crew 2 has one as well I believe.

Fictional, it's called Jupiter Beach Raceway, probably inspired by the real Palm Beach International Raceway.
