We were on the Breakaway a month before you and the Muster Drill also sucked for us. Chaos for close to an hour with yelling about being quiet and putting phones away. Well we stood around for at least 30 minutes before anything official even began to take place. Last time we did a muster drill there was 25 of us met at the boat we were supposed to be on if things started sinking....calm and quiet and organized. Far different than what we experienced this time.
Thanks for the video, we are on the Breakaway 3/26/23 and I have just heard that the NCl is doing away within person muster drills as 4/1/23 and going back videos.
🤣😂 If true, that’s hilarious and very typical of large corporations. I hope it’s true! In person is such a waste of crew and passenger time, imo.

Yes, did a Norwegian cruise in January and was not that happy. I only will do one more NCL, and that is on the Pride because we want to see the Hawaiian islands. But after that? Nope.
I hope the NCL ships change designs so we can give them another chance. 🤷♀️

We haven’t been since we started vlogging, but were there several times before. Our favorite place is Little French Key! It’s a private excursion and they provide transportation from the port. 👍🏼
There is no excuse from your room not being serviced every day. We were on the Escape last month and they said they would be only cleaning the cabins 1x a day, rather than 2x daily beginning later in the month. I'm glad you complained.
We were totally ready for one time and day, having read up before we sailed, of course. But zero times for more than one day in a row was just not acceptable. Thanks for watching!
Royal carribean and celebrity have said they will never go back to the old muster! So her excuse is just that an excuse!

Great idea. While you are waiting to get onboard make everyone sit in a room and watch the video then they can get on. On ours it was a joke. They made you waitwhen they finally showed up they scanned your card and you left. What a joke.
With 4k people, you need in person for people to pay attention. you can turn on the video, but being present is harder ignore when it is face to face. I have had in person on other ships on other lines recently and it never exceeded 15 mins. Maybe the staff is out of practice as much as the cruisers are?
It was unfortunately very disorganized. But what was worse was the assistant manager blatantly lying to us, saying they had to, by law, switch back to in-person, and the other cruise lines would be doing the same soon. We knew it wasn’t true at the time, and it has indeed turned out to not be true.🙄
The food was the best week but our Stewart said they only had 700-800 staff they were exhausted
Absolutely what our room steward said too!! Either the asst mgr or our room steward wasn't being truthful (my money is on the assistant manager) 😉.

Sorry for your room cleaning issue. Oh no! I hope we don't go back to in-person e muster. In this day of advance technologies, cruise lines should have a reasonably easy way to proactively confirm that people have watched the safety briefings so that they can take corrective action. Their room key should not work until the safety briefing has been watched and completed. Those of us who try to do the right thing in a timely manner should not suffer with those who don't. If a person does not watch and complete the safety briefing/e muster final check-in they should be escorted of the ship...This will motive lots of people to get it done.
You are right!!! Another viewer suggested deactivating their ship card so they can't buy drinks until they check in for emuster. 🍺😂 That would get their attention quickly.

OMG……give up folks. This is not a cruise review but a rambling diatribe about minor issues. I don’t believe this couple would be happy anywhere.
