Tibetan Mastiff cannot even withstand Delhi's summers. It's location is upper Himalayas.
Please don't buy one of you live in plains, unless you want to see your loved dog suffer from Nasea, skin diseases, kidney and heart failures. It's my sincere advice. If you want to get a ferocious and intelligent dog, try Mudhol Hound or other Indian breeds which are cheaper to maintain and healthy.

Gaddi has lesser health issues as compared to TM.
U will find gaddi dogs in himachal/Uttarakhand/j&k reason and north east area too
Tibetan mastiff were also a part of Mauryan army in chandragupta era
Tibetan mastiffs are called mastiff but they are not actually a mastiff they are mountain dogs just like caucasian ovcharka, illyrian shepherd and pyranean mountain dogs

they all are molos dogs i think...mastif is something diferent, molos is moveable dog, wolf confeonting if needed, with stamina...mastifs are all kind a wawy...like saint bernard, mountain dog but very cold bloodeed, calm, an by nose u can se its a mix....ALL REAL ANCIENT DOGS has tight upper lips, not big ones dancing arround...

Umm... If I give you my personal experience. 1. They r too expensive and you have to get them imported 2. I have 13 tebettan mastiffs and have kept almost all mastiffs 3. They aren't the best in gaurding but r very good ( best according to me is dogo argentino) 4. I am not the person in vedio and I live in a farm house where they have been kept for more than 300+ years.
I mean my family has kept tebettan mastiffs for 300+ years not kangal.
