  • With the Indian rupee weakening against the US dollar, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the United States are increasingly looking at Bengaluru's real estate market as a lucrative investment opportunity. Real estate experts have observed a significant surge in NRI investments, particularly in North Bengaluru, where nearly 40% of US-based NRIs have parked their money in recent years. This trend is fueled by multiple factors, including the area's robust infrastructure, proximity to Kempegowda International Airport, and a growing luxury housing market.

I call it an Absolute BS! Bengaluru has huge water and infrastructure issue. Even if you invest in Realestate, you can never take the money out of India without paying huge tax to the Govt.

You will never make a profit to take out of India as the Rs will keep devaluing and the taxes you will pay
Most of the buying is emotional

Investing in the real estate sector in Indian cities, particularly in Bangalore, is a very good 👍 option, for the NRIs, and that too at a time when the value of ₹ is on the decline vs the USD.
Bangalore is the topmost growing city in IT & ITES sector, and there is a huge potential for growth.
But, the investors should be equally aware of the dubious players in the market, and the local laws, regarding purchasing & renting out .
Even the local Bangaloreans face so much problems in the real estate market.
Still, wish you, good 👍 luck.
