Went to high school with these guys: Dustin, Zack, and Nic. I dont know how I even remembered the name of their band, but this is such a nostalgia blast haha. I was in band class with Nic, the drummer. Nic was (is) a sick drummer, and I always looked up to him. Being younger than him, and subsequently less skilled was the primary motivation for me to improve as a drummer. The fact that he always called me out (standard shit talking) when I fucked up helped as well haha. I remember watching them play a few different times. I also remember Zack and Nic's (and Reid?) other band, The Cloud City Cowboys, and watching them play as well. Specifically them playing "96 quite bitter beings" at a show at a little restaurant in town, which was the first time I had ever heard that song. I loved it immediately, and learned it as quickly as I could. Zack is a nuts guitarist and I always loved watching him play. Dustin was always aloof and a bit of an asshole, but theres one in every crowd. Great guy though.
