This old man had seen many decades pass, some good, some difficult, and how he was 85 years himself and his body was slowly growing weaker. "When he saw that tree not only grow but thrive" the old man continued "he went on a mission to plant more. Sometimes daily. Caring for each and one of them." "And this is why there is now this forest surrounding our house?" a young voice inquired. He laughed and his laugh turnt into a cough. "Grandpa are you alright?" the boy looked at him concerned. "Oh, it's nothing, bud" the grandpa said, touching the boys black hair. "It's just what a lifetime of planting does to you" The boys eyes widened even more. "You are plant guy?" he said excited, as if he had just lifted a lifelong secret. "No, my boy, but I knew him" The boy couldn't hide his disappointment. He had heard so many things about plant guy all his life. How he created the forest that now not only nurtured the animals, it also nurtured the town with wild meat, wood and the fruits of the forest. Because of plant guy the town was prosperous and in hard times even self sufficient. As a young boy he had only survived the famine because he and his family were able to find nuts and mushrooms and squirrels in the forest. "I'll tell you what" the old man said " you go to the old maple and sit on that bridge, close your eyes and you'll know who plant guy is" The boy followed suit, ran into the forest to the creek, that had swollen into a small river due to rain, and said on that bridge his grandfather had built together with his father as a young boy. Who is plant boy? His thoughts said as he closed his eyes. And in his imagination he saw himself on a barren field, carefully carrying a tiny tree and planting it on the right of a small creek. When he opened his eyes, the dieing maple was standing tall, proud and very much alive to his right, overlooking the lush forest. Everyone is plant boy, he said to himself and the wind.

This story is based off the art in the vid, hope you like it: Back again...at that old rugged bridge. He had gone there so many times he'd lost count. Every time he was stressed, overwhelmed, something about that bridge just calmed him. As if nothing else existed other than him, and the surrounding forest. And this time was no different. He had just finished a heated argument with one of his friends. There were many arguments that arose between them, but this one was the last. He realized his friend no longer saw him desirable to hang with. Said that he'd gotten boring and dull, that all he does is study and take care of plants. He wouldn't even say his name, he just called him the Plant Guy. 5 minutes later, it was over. The friendship was done. The "Plant Guy" was satisfied, but at the same time hurt. Like a piece of him just faded away. He had gone back to the bridge, as usual. A million questions pounded in his head "why me?", "why did I have to get hurt?", "what do I do now?". He then stared at the river below him for quite some time. But suddenly, he realized. No matter what happens to the river, what goes inside and outside of it. It keeps on flowing. He had realized there was a connection with that river and him... that no matter who joins or leaves him, he can keep going in life. He can look foward, to a bright new day. He felt relaxed and content as he left the forest. As he left, that old rugged bride. The End :)
