I am a night owl and I have wondered about this. Could it be that our distant ancestors had anything to do with this? Night owls could stand guard for preditors while the early risers cave people slept.
Zero proof but somehow packed into my DNA I feel that I had the job of night watch,, I failed, was stabbed in the heart and pretty sure the people I was supposed to protect suffered. Oops.. sorry early fam. I try to pay better attention now
I'm 51 and this is the first introduction to this research, there's enough info here, to keep me interested and its perfect. I'm always telling I do as much or more with my roughly 16 hours of awake time per day. This video inspired me thanks
That has been me my entire life. Apparently even when I was an infant. My Mom told me that as a baby I would stay up much later into the night than any baby she had ever seen or heard of, then sleep heavy much later into the morning than any baby she knew. She even took me to a doctor because she became concerned I wasn't well. The doctor told her - "No ma'am. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but your child is what some folks call a Night Owl. And if there's one thing that I can assure you of is that it will only get worse as he gets older. If you thought adolescence made them crazy enough as it is... you're likely going to be in for a doosy when this one hits his teen years." I can honestly say I became madness incarnate when I hit my teens! God bless my Mother for not just putting me down in the middle of the night and save everyone from the imminent migraines.
Ive always been a night owl, like to a socially unacceptable extreme. Ill be kinda tired at like 7pm, but then 10pm i always get a burst of energy that lasts until 9 or 10 am, then i sleep until maybe 2-6pm.
*My Daily Success Habits, Alarmy :: abr.ge/whslfq We all know the saying, 'The early bird catches the worm.' We live in a world dominated by early risers, and people who have trouble waking up in the mornings are often viewed as weak-willed or lazy. If you're one of them, watch this video until the end! Because we'll explain that it's not laziness stopping you from getting up in the mornings. In fact, you're genetically wired to be a night owl.
This past few months Molly has had long face, seemed to pulling away from Kelly. That Olivia needs therapy, why does she treat her mom so badly? Thought she moved out. Very confusing…..need to heal
@@Doreengo520 True dat. Just when I was starting to feel like there was nothing wrong with being a night owl. I've always been annoyed that morning people are so admired when they are usually the first to Peter out and go home first while the rest of us carry the torch into the night even though we were required to be there at the same time as the worm eaters.
@@jat6547 No safety net in life for some of us. 2 full time jobs 80 hours a week so I’m not homeless, broke, and desolate in the world. People don’t support you like you support. Plus when you down and out nobody will loan you a dollar. So to keep from begging and borrowing I’ve adapted to little rest and learned that while your back is turn people you trust to be there for you are not. They actually get comfortable in your support and you eventually have to leave those individuals to their own devices. So I rather live like this it takes 2 incomes to live a normal life, I’ll just get both checks myself and delete the bullshit and be happy.
The thing is...the early worm gets ate. So ... I'll sleep till sundown.

Night shifter for 30 years. On days off I kept to the nighttime schedule. I find myself in daytime hrs, sluggish and tired.

This is so interesting. I know people who are related to the Vigils. They guarded The Royal families. and, they are a Night Owl 🦉
This person used to wake up at 2 am as a six year old, call me weak or lazy and I will show you weak
I am treated like I'm lazy because I'm a night owl!!
That’s what I’ve been trying to tell everyone I work for before they fire me for being late all the time.

“Science” also says that vaccines can’t possibly be harmful to your health … “science” also benefits millions from some of its “studies” 😅
No shit.did they just figure that out?🙄👎😎
It implies you should change to morning... if you just work at it. So in other words, Don't be yourself.
I’ve been a night owl and rise early getting by on 4 hours rest. You gotta master your own clock.
Your flirting with trouble !! 😪 😴
