My Vintage Peugeot Perthus Pro 753 & Vitus 979 Duralinox are on 52,
Tom must fly on that with a 58 Crank and carbon Frame.

I've got an idea for a video or series you could do. What bike to get, including brand considerations, gears, what specs and lingo to look for. You could even recommend or guide on bikes by budget. Eg, if someone had £5k what would you recommend or what would you get yourself

Great idea! I’m pretty sure I’m swapping my TT bike so I can do that myself, with a smaller budget 🤣🤣

Good video, biggest dilemma most amateur triathletes…… who have interest in cycling more than other sports…is whether to get for example an Aeroad or get the entry level tri bike.

Its simple. Road bike first and if you fall in love with the sport and do more 1/2's or fulls then get a TRi bike. I have an Aeroad and Speedmax and difference is amazing.

@@triathlonlen Ya fair enough, first year for me on budget road bike. Won’t be upgrading for 2 years so won’t be both..be depending on what preference then. When you say difference as in performance ….is there difference between bikes doing a tri?..for non pros…

It is an NRG waxed race chain on my felt. Had the bike new 3 years ago from speedhub. Bike fitted by Dan at uk bike fit. First full distance at outlaw. Bike was spot on . Tubeless conti gp5000 tt , disc cover and that's about it for mods.

I think more and more will be on road bikes, I’m well tempted especially for rolling courses.
