Great questions and so interesting how byrne talks about the power of childhood experience , about acting and self expression perceived as showing off , and the influence of becketts relationship with his parents . (And ive just realised biopic is not pronounced biOpic 😂
No matter how factual and/or successful a biopic of his life, I doubt Samuel Beckett would have wanted it made. Certainly, due to his fame such films would be produced and viewed but to what purposes beyond simple entertainment and maybe some information for the curious. As fascinating as the man was, the best Beckett is, and will remain, his writing.
He is such a great actor.
I love him 💚
Love Gabriel interpretation 🕊🧡

Interviewer gushes words like a machine gun spews bullets.

Gabriel Byrne is slowly morphing into Keith Richard. The older he gets the more narrow his face gets....
I noticed that too. And now the jewels. He´s not aging gracefully. Such a handsome man that he was.
