Hey Zac I’ve been dealing w a lot of permaseal Honda lights, I haven’t had the luxury of a oven, my trick so far is just a heat gun and panel spreader like you said. Pocket screw drivers, and don’t be afraid to mess w the plastic a bit csuse I’ve been able to bend them back with heat
Have you considered heating the light, Remove a little, shim it open, re heat, repeat. Maybe use a floss like string/wire to to slide under the cover from one side to the other after getting it started to cut the seal
These are going to be so nice! I would love to see how they turned out in the car. Did you end up addressing the light reflection possible issues by adding additional shrouding between the light sources? I'm quite sure I am not the only one that would LOVE to buy a set of these as my skillset and mainly lack of time due to travel working makes this impossible for me to do myself. Great quality of work, great editing on the video and great content man! Keep it up and let us know if these ever become an orderable set! I sent a subscribe your way and shared this to my car people interested in similar for their cars.
good work but you have some mistakes I think you didn't make a shroud between the barking and reverse light so the light will come through the reverse section also the parking light comes through the LED bulbs of the break lights if I made that I'll put shroud in the back of them keep posting the goods bro 🫶🏻
What microcontroller do you use to be able to use the sequential lights with just the cars normal controls? And how would you go about coding that controller and what kinds of customizability would it have?
where can I get that kind of motherboard? did you have to program any chip o anything else additionally? I want to do something like that to my car (I live in Chile) but I cant get to the right tutorial 🥺
Love your vid zac!!! I've done a few retrofits an now thinking about tail lights an your video is inspiring me lol. Im want to do my civic hstch but am not wondering how does the wiring to the car work from the taillights? Im assuming splicing/t-taps?
Thanks! if your doing just a basic illumaesthic kit you can just wire the boards up directly to the small tail light harness (all tail lights are going to have their own little harness on the back of them) if you wanting to go with a full blow show mode color shifting style you will need to run wires from the trunk lights to the body lights (which sucks!!)
@@zaccook Ok so I am trying to build some 1 color tail lights for a 71 Charger, I bought a dimmer module and a Corsomotion module (bc I was recommended to do so). My main issue is the voltage to use to calculate which resistor, 12V or 14.7V. The other issue is how to wire the dimmer module to the Coromotion module because the dimmer has 1 outlet for the "night'brake" but the corsomotion asks for a night (parking) and another for the brakes.
Where can i find the diffuser panel to work on doing my own set? It seems like everyone is so booked out or just simpky doesn't answer or is not interested in doing what im looking to have done.
Now people understand why LED panel taillights are expensive to buy built 👍🏽

Just going super slow and Starting in high stress areas like you’ve explained in past videos

Hell ya bro another banger video!

Nice one, like your work. Any chance you taking orders to make custom lights?
if you use a dremel to put a relief cut on the end of a throwaway flathead screw driver it will be less tedious to lay down all the cut led ends.
smart! ill have to try that!
Nice content bro, love it ❤❤ from indo
I know this is old but do you think you could do some custom taillights for a 2021 honda passport
Can you do like one that looks like a endless hallway for the 99 integra also what's your website I want to order for my integra
hi where di you get the board and how much would you charge to make it
Hello, do you have any information about sequential module? Is build by you? Could you share some information? Thank you and nice job!
How much would it be for me to send you a set of oem tail lights + aftermarket tail lights for a lens swap from the aftermarkets to the oems?
Hello
Im wondering how did you make that panel which you put the Leds on?
En la descripcion no escribiste como se llama el secuencial 😢😢 como la puedo comprar en amazon?? La tarjeta secuencial 😊
How do you know what kind of resistor you need for the lights?
where can i buy this sequential module?
What strips do you use ?
Hello Zac, please let me know, how many input volts are you using to calculate the resistors??? Thanks a lot, hugs from México...
hey! didn't really have to calculate them because illumaesthic has a cheat sheet, but the voltage is just vehicle voltage so 11v-14v
@@zaccook thanks a lot for your help...

Hello friend, how to have a module like these?
Where can i find those sequential moduels for the leds
Corsomotion module, such a good sequential module!
I don't see where you are using a dimming module, what voltage did you calculate the resistor off of?
I didn't have to use a dimmer on this one but the sequential corsomotion module can do the dimming as well.

Hola como estas. Donde puedo mandar hacer esa placa porta diodos rgb
It looks like your parking light strip LEDs are bleeding light through your brake light and turn signal LEDs.
