I used to go there all the time, but if you order take out, check everything because twice they didn't give me everything I ordered. Their doughnuts were awesome, but for the last 10 years they charged extra for doughnuts with filling, so a dozen can really add up.
You guys gotta hit up Northern Cafe and Grill, best hole in the wall in Vancouver. And also checked out Park Crest Diner in Burnaby, one of the last legit old guard diners.

Duffin’s is glorious, but you guys oughta visit LA Chicken in Richmond. Hands down, indisputably the best fried chicken in YVR. Also, massive kudos for using Nujabes in your video!
You are so right. Duffin’s Fritou chicken is the best in Vancouver and surrounding areas. I’ll drive from South Surrey for it. Often stop when passing by on days I’m working in Vancouver for work. Their donuts are second place for me though. They have really good bubble tea.
Duffins is an institution… love their tortas . For fried chicken though try the spicy chicken at LA Chicken . For bonus points get a side of rice and top it with their gravy . On a good day you can take your chicken across the street and enjoy your chicken in the park . Best fried chicken in Canada .
I miss their beef stew when they had Chinese food on the right side of the counter. The Chicken is good too. I'm never around since moving away. Duffins was the spot 2am after lord knows what.. lol
The Fritou Chicken is pretty killer! Very crispy, and the spicy chicken is especially good. Not insanely hot, just a nice kick to it with great flavor... I went through MANY years, recently even, where EVERY time I was downtown, I would head home via Knight street just to drive by it and see if any of the day-old pack had bear claws in them. There were times I'd get 3 bear claws plus 2-3 other odd donuts mixed in for something like $4-$5... insane!! If there were NO day-olds, I'd still be grabbing a few pieces of chicken to take home. It was a no-lose situation 😋

In full honesty I don’t know a single person who looks up an address to a restaurant rather than just the name of the restaurant, which is in the title of the video haha. Just use Google Maps or Apple Maps and search “Duffins Donuts”. You will find it I promise!
