I know some people are not going to want to hear it, but it's true. Notice that manufacturers don't offer any warranty if you damage your electric scooter while off-roading. While you're out there hitting those high jumps and rocks, just know that if you break anything, it is 100% your responsibility. I think my Hollyburn GS actually has an off-road warranty; I need to double-check that.

I've been saying this for a few years, I keep mine on the streets. Good video

I 100% agree with you, apparently my RS is supposed to be a hybrid on road and off road scooter based on its height adjustability but i dont belive it for anything lol! I prefer to just ride it on the street, not do those crazy bunny hops other are doing and then breaking their stems etc and blaming the quality of the scooter for it. Im glad you are bringing this up. Very good video. Im gonna share it!

I have seen a lot of people treat their electric scooters like dirt bikes, lol. Weeks later, they have to replace their motors, bent rims, and controllers, and they want the company to cover it under warranty? Come on, take responsibility.

Totally agree. I think the chinese firms marketed them like that to get a foothold in America. The flat deck surface, without any way of securing yourself to the scooter is going to throw the rider eventually. Sooner or later your going to have a catastrophic failure of one of the systems. Frame, forks, stem, hub motors, etc. something will fail. Its not a bike that you can clamp your thighs to when necessary.

I wouldn’t blame the Chinese firms, it is the American marketers and content creators pushing this nonsensical concept. The brake rotor is the only thing that needs to be mentioned to solidify this fact. No vehicle built to perform in off-road conditions would have a braking system designed like that. The GTR is built to last over a long period of daily commuting. Americans are destructive and want to race and jump everything. The scooters are designed for urban commuting.

Well, you're right... and you're wrong :) NOTHING is 'offroad' in this context. If you have an off-road vehicle, you need to take care of it and check it after every hard drive. You don't do this in a regular car. The same if you drive your car on a track - tires or brakes may need to be replaced after one route.
So, there are scooters that you CAN ride off-road, but you will have to service and repair them after.

Based on the working faceshield link I would assume it is a helmet made by Biltwell. Just a hunch.
