Fath is doing so good. I'm so grateful you got her she really needs a kind hand. I just wanted to cry when the previous owner was snapping her lead rope.
I remember my dad used to say that most young horses don’t really know how to buck and there’s no reason to give them a chance to learn! I think your slow, steady approach is the way to go! Great job with Faith!!
WOW JR....little Faith is doing great under your tutelage! She trusts you and feels safe. Her previous owner was afraid of her and Faith picked up her fear. What a perfect lesson on transference between fear & calm-trust. Praise to Emori for spotting this Gem of a horse in a field of rocks. God bless.....

I know people that take their dogs out that are bear hunters. They go with the horses to hunt bears that have come onto farm properties. The hunters were out doing a job to protect farm animals. I haven't seen this trainer that you are referring to, going hunting with dogs on horses combined, rather for pleasure, though JR could educate use further on this. Dogs and horses can coexist when properly trained. My dogs are use to being with our horses and know to take direction from me and be mindful when being around the horses. Asking questions of why, is appropriate not every dog knows how to act around a large animal. Great that you asked the question.
It just amazing and most wonderful all the love that you pour into these beautiful Creatures. Thank you for sharing with us. I'm enjoying Humanity as I watch us begin to share our love with one another as you do with these beautiful horses. Much love to all
First in! Thanks for posting. Faith is making progress. I think she will be a fine horse for someone. Too cute, those puppies. Put them to work early, too. Ernie p.s. I sympathize about the hold of gravity. I have reached the age where I no longer put my butt over my head.
IMO, the background noises indicate how easily the mare can get startled. It gives us a better picture of what the horses have to learn to ignore, perhaps. It didn't seem to interfere with your voice narration, to me. Besides, the dogs are part of the family too, methinks.
Your right. But the part you might be missing is the stress on me. I am trying to convey everything that is just second nature to me because training horses is just who I am. I am trying to concentrate on horse but spending much of my cognitive ability on communicating and trying to get good shots. If the dog is distracting me or gets me in a bad mood the horse will perceive it and it effects the training. There’s times if I’m in a bad mood I just don’t train because it’s counter productive.
Wow, I had to quit watching because I got so dizzy! LOL She has really come a long way in such a sort time. She must have not felt safe and calm in her environment before. Nothing against the lady. YOu can just see how much calmer she is. Nice!
She is good at things you tell her to do. Plus she's beautiful 😊❤
Faith is such a quick learner. She is so sweet and such a pretty little horse. ❤😊
"Faith is such a quick learner." I was just about to type that. Yes, she is!

Yes thank you I keep telling myself I’m going slow for her and not because I’m chicken. Lol
Loved the praying over her! ❤
It changed this mare fast! Really works wonders

Glorious to see this work. Your family deserves all that has come your way. God bless and great job leading like a real man of God.
J.R. I love how patient you are with your animals. Faith really seems to want to please you..
Thanks new owner is bringing her back to breed to Bob. We will get to do a follow up video. She loves her.
Very nice work, and her desire to please is obvious.
It’s amazing how fast she turned to a different direction just such a small queue. I think she must be very smart.
Such a sweet little horse! Little Faith is just the most perfect little gal. She even tolerated very well the the little puppy!!!

Faith seems to be living up to her name. Lovey creature, IMO.

Well I still occasionally end up with but over head but usually against my will
@@homesteadhorsemanship I know THAT feeling, as well.
A puppy brush 😂😂😂
She looks like one smart horse. She should be a fast learner.
That's amazing! Very impressive.
I wrote a note to your buddy at Free spirit Equestrian and told her she should breed her "Bell" to your " oliver"!
Why is the doggy on a chain? Poor guy, is he ever allowed to run freely? Is it just certain moments of a day where he is chained up?
Great video. What a change she’ll make a wonderful addition to a family
That's a great idea using the buddy stirrups when ground driving!!
Faith seems very smart….

Do you not reward with apple treats while doing early training?
Faith?
