Here it is! I hope you guys enjoy my new 90s lookbook and think it’s totally off-the-chain-wallet ;) The inspiration for these outfits comes from around 1995 - 1999 (particularly teen and young adult fashion, but let’s be real, it’s mostly inspired by 90s Delia’s catalogues!). Apologies for how long this video took to actually get uploaded (if you watched my last vlog you’ll know why I’ve been behind on videos), but it also took longer as I try to challenge myself with editing and try out new techniques for each lookbook.
Also, please respect my chosen voiceover technique for these types of videos. I try to speak at a steady pace and pronounce words clearly so everybody can understand what I say, because english is not everybody's native language. Even if it is, I have an Australian accent that not all people are familiar with. Remember that it's also harder to understand what a person is saying when you can't see their mouth moving along to the words. In the future I'd like to organise closed captions, even if people contribute them, as it's hard to find time to write them myself.

I love how those looks are actually very authentic! Often when you're see 90s fashion recreated it's very glamourized and modernized. The outfits you put together however are very accurate and definitely something you would've seen back in the day.

This! I hate when I watch 90s lookbooks and every ensembles looks like a costume. I was born in the 80s and this is one of the most authentic representations of 90s wares I've seen on RUclips.

Ida Danzig I just commented the same! She actually looks like she walked out of the 90s. It's not a 2017 interpretation of the 90s.
You can tell she puts a lot of work into these videos with the research and clothing she chooses. She's always spot on with her recreations that it's like she's actually in the 90's , this is why I love her so much 💖💖💖

I'm 36, I was a teen in the 90's and yes I wore all of these outfits, just in different colors. I remember buying that style of triangle top, it was brown suede, very boho looking. I wore it with low rise jeans and red Doc Martens. I had the exact same blue gingham dress and I am pretty sure it was from Delia's or maybe Alloy. I specifically remember wearing it once and getting chewed out by my friend for wearing it because he said it was too revealing or I was too curvy or some nonsense. Like I was "asking for it". Ugh such a jerk! I loved that dress and wore it all the time.

And my favorite outfit was the last outfit...soooo cute! It reminds me of a slightly edgier Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz (another favorite childhood character) I like the contrast of sweet with a little bit of an edge! I'm totally inspired for the summer with this look!✨

I also used to wear the cropped V halter/tube as a kid! I would have them in co-ords with mini-skirts when I was around 2-4 years old (my mum and grandma chose my clothes at the time) 💁🏻
I actually LOVE your "rewind" look books (90s, 00s, etc) because they're so nostalgic and true to the style of that time! 🙆🏻 and many other people that make those kinds of look books usually incorporate the style of today with the style back then which is kinda "cheating" imo hahaha but yeah I can tell you put a lot of time into these look books to curate the perfect outfits of that chosen theme! 👌🏼✨

LITERALLU CRYING. IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DRESS LIKE THIS SINCE I COULD REMEMBER. In kindergarten I used to have so many velvet clothes, chokers, jellies, overalls, the whole shebang! And then it all went away. You must work magic to find these pieces!
