Dear Mao, the English language is weird and funny, sometime difficult for us non native peoples. On the table as food, pig nose become "pork snout". And the "cheung chrouk", they called it "pig trotter" or "pork trotter". Thank you for the video and I love your manner when talking to anyone.

English has been formed from several different languages. To use your comment, pig is from German origin and pork is French. When we talk about the “animal” we will use “pig”: pig’s ear, pig skin or pig trotter, big or little pig. But when we speak about food, we will use the word “pork”for example, pork chops, pork ribs or sweet and sour pork. Animal-pig or Food-pork you should always use it this way. Just to confuse you a little more, a discussion might go like this, “There is a pig’s head on the table” said the boy, but the girl replied, “I don’t like eating pork”. The boy is speaking about the “animal”, but the girl is speaking about food.

Eating dried banana is tastier than eating candy. Also, what oils do they typically use? Do they use palm and coconut oil? I would love to know how to eat some of those meats, as they are very different from the western world. For example, how do you eat those dried fish etc.

Hello, here they use pork oil and vegetable oil for cooking and frying. For dried fish I cook it fry or grill it as well and eat with steamed rice . Thank you 🙏

@@Mao-od8gpThanks for your reply. Always appreciated. We would call the pork oil - Lard. Lard is very healthy for you, don’t believe the lies about vegetable and seed oils. Olive oil, Palm oil and Coconut oil are all good for you as well. Canola oil is genetically modified. And thanks again for replying.
