- M15 watched over the E's this morning, doing a great job as he always does. He brought two food items for them (a small unknown food morsel and a roadkill rabbit) and fed them too. M15 made short trips away but returned and watched over the E's and the territory. Harriet has not been seen on cam since yesterday afternoon. But it seems every season, one parent or the other is not seen for a period of time and it causes us more concern than it does them. E21 & E22 are now four weeks old (E21/30 days E22/28 days). Mama owl was seen feeding her owlets in N2 (nest 2) today also.

My first season was with my Prince E9❤ never missed a video.
I've seen all the ups and downs since then. Today, my heart is broken 😭💔 the love, dedication, and parenting skills of M15 and Harriet are absolutely amazingly brilliant. My heart hurt for Harriet and her eagle family.

I have been following this since E-9 and I have never seen Harriet leave the nest for so long. I can’t watched anymore the eaglet is bitten badly by the sibling. I hope good news comes up this is very 😢painful to watch. ❤ 🦅 🦅🦅🦅❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

😢 CC, where is the video from Vicki? I am a nervous wreck. I've been through this type of thing before at the Virginia botanical gardens a few years ago. My heart is pounding just thinking about it. Please God bring her safely home. AMEN

Hi Vicki I hope you sew doing well! I don’t like it that Harriet is missing my heart is breaking into pieces. I hope she is safe somewhere out there just taking a break! Been crying ever since I heard she didn’t come home. I just love them so much I can’t help the crying. M is doing a wonderful job! God Bless you M! We are all very devastated that Harriet has gone missing for 2+ days, at this point. She was last seen on 2/2/23, at around 5:30 pm, nest time. (EST, USA)
But, it has happened in the past, according to the Admins on their chat. Not when the eaglets were this young but, she has, for whatever eagle reason she might have had, gone away for a few days and then returned.
I am preparing for the worst, but, hoping for the best. In the meantime, I am praying 🙏 along with the thousands of other fans that she return and this will only be a bad memory.
I also pray for M15, as he has two beautiful eaglets to feed and take care of and he must be wondering where she is. Or, perhap, he knows. He adores Harriet and has been a fantastic mate and dad.
I also pray for E21 and E22, as this is something they also have to deal with, at only about a month old, but, praise God, M15 is a very capable dad who knows how to care for little ones through many years of experience.
I am sure that Vicki will see your comment, but, I just need to tell you that it got posted as a reply to my comment and not in the main section, as an original comment and might not get seen by all who visit this site.
If you put it here for Vicki to see and just me and those who look at the replies to my comment, that's perfectly fine. Some people do that as they would rather not have everyone read their inner thoughts and place their comment in a corner, so to speak.

@@CuriousCat7 Harriet would never leave her eaglets alone at the young age they were. Yes, Harriet was gone one other time (season of E10 & E11) for approx. 48 hours... and so was E11. They both returned.
I'm very worried, so very very worried. Please come home Harriet 💔😭

Thank you Vicki. I have been observing with out commenting lately. Thank you Pritchett’s for keeping us updated. Praying it is okay with Harriet. I just looked in my China Cabinet. The first year I watched Harriet and Ozzie was with E 6 & 7. I have the coffee cup with E 7 & 8. I think I have E9 and when M15 showed up. At first people didn’t like him but Harriet picked a great partner and father for her nest. Been several years! One day when we take our trip down we WILL meet for lunch! Thank you! You are my go person when I need updates!!

I started to watch these blessed Eagles Harriet M15 season 10 as i was depressed struggling as i am with breast cancer and treatments what ill never understand yes its NATURE that i get but they've been watched and loved for years yet no tracking device just in case sonething like this occurs to find out where Harriet may be if she's ok etc as a RESULT many are TOTALLY DEVASTATED as i am and no ANSWERS just watching in horror E21 biting E22 mean NASTY eating not letting E22 EAT which BOTH eagles mom dad could help prevent watching in sadness M15 trying desperately to PROTECT from intruders and crying out for Harriet . YES IT'S NATURE HOWEVER FOR YEARS YOU'VE HAD FOLLOWERS WHO'VE BEEN FAITHFUL WATCHING HARRIET IN CONTROL OF HER TERRITORY AND DEVOTION WITH HER ABD M15 I STARTED TO WATCH SEASON 10 AND NOW I'M SOBBING DEVASTATED NOT KNOWING WHERE HARRIET IS AND E21 TORTURING E22 IT'S HORRIFIC . I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY NO TRACKING DEVICE WHATEVER WAS ON HARRIET M15 THAT MILLIONS OF PEOPLE LOVE AND FOLLOW. Hi Vicki- I just subscribed to your RUclips today. I have followed you for many years at this nest. I know these eagles are very familiar with your voice! I am completely heartbroken over Harriet’s missing. I don’t know how far you are from the nest, but I just hope and pray that they take comfort in hearing you when you are there! I can’t watch the live feed or the videos right now…too many tears…but I always think of you and your calming voice. Thank you!

Praying for H’s safe return, but long time eagle watchers (both here and elsewhere) know this isn’t normal behavior. The presence of another female gives concern as to the cause as well. But returns HAVE happened at other nests even after injuries, so I shall hope and pray.

Cindy, M15 is showing us he's fully capable of caring for the E's to successfully fledge. Yes, I was recording at the nest the year Harriet lost her previous mate, Ozzie.

OMG i first came across Harriet M15 SEASON 10 i needed to smile laughter never give up GOD showed me these two i missed a couple days struggling breast cancer Pittsburgh PA really sick then tuned in and THIS! I'm DEVASTATED what HAPPENED? Where is mom i sobbed watching M15 trying his best to care for babies i I'm praying for a MIRACLE bring Harriet back home OK my smile gone laughter gone just sad DEPRESSED AGAIN WHY GOD WHY? ? Not long enough, just saw him tearing up E22 like he/she was meal, pulling feathers etc 😖
@@seabreeze7378 watched it last season when E19 laid into 20 all the time..Survival of the fittest..I thought he was gonna end up being a BALD Bald Eagle..He survived and they ended up BFF's (except at feeding time, She was like, this is MY food, get your own), but he had hysterical funny ways to snag the food sometimes

Fighting breast cancer i missed last two days very sick but i always pray for GOD'S protection safety health strength of this EAGLE FAMILY my Faith is shattered here what happened? Hi Vicki and thanku for your positivity. It truly helps n the middle of all this worry. I’ve read n a couple of chat rooms that Harriet disappeared like this in a previous season but I don’t remember her ever being gone with E’s n nest. Can u confirm that happened and if so, how old were the babies❓My most desperate prayers that Harriet is able to return to the nest. She’s sooooo needed🙏🙏🙏❤️🦅❤️

I noticed on one of tHa News coverage video 03 February that M was briefly in tHa air with an intruder and locked TALONS "death spiral" fighting over territory. DOES ANYBIRDIE KNOW WHAT tHa TS (Time Stamp) is for that aerial battle is? OR DID ANYBIRDIE CAPTURE IT ON THEIR VIDEO CHANNEL?

usually the remaining mate will keep the nest and look for a new mate to raise eaglets there.
