Hi, i am trying to replicate the same effect, on your video at 3:24 second, when you insert a rectangle, and choosing the rectangle & object you're choosing subtract, for me when i choose the rectangle & object the "merge shape" option is grayed out, kindly advise
on 2:50 I merged fonts together. Make sure you also merged shapes together and later you subtract newly created shape. You wont be able to subtract group of separate items.

If your "merge shapes" is grayed out, click CTRL A to highlight all and your gray will turn black!

i am having the same issue i tried al possibilities but cant combine the font and shape (cant use combine shape tool)
